AI GeneratedThe presenter discusses a specific gimmick found in a green Bicycle playing card deck and demonstrates a magic trick inspired by Guida's \"Fish Out of Water.\" The trick involves a deceptive shuffle where a spectator's selected card becomes the only face-up card in the deck, utilizing a natural break and a \"block push\" to hide the setup.
Hello again everybody. What I have here is a mini green deck of bicycle playing cards. You've seen
the red and the blue. The green is really cool, but actually, I'm just kidding. It's a regulation
size deck of cards. There are no mini cards in the deck except for this gimmick and that's why
I'm showing this to you. The prizes that I've been sending out, the new green decks, come
with this gimmick with five mini faces and five mini green backs. A lot of people have been asking
me, what is the purpose of this gimmick? Other than to make it look like you have a small deck,
I don't understand how it should be used. If anybody knows the best way to use this gimmick
or what the purpose of this gimmick is, please let me know in the comments or send me a personal
message so I understand how to use it. Okay, I'm going to show you a pretty cool trick now.
This trick was inspired by Guida Fish Out of Water. The link to his video that inspired this
trick is in the description box. Let me show it to you and then I'll show you how it's done.
Okay, so I'm going to drop the cards and we're going to take half the cards and spread them
face down and we're going to have you select any one of these cards. So let's say you want
this card right over here, the two of clubs. I'm going to ask you to take the two of clubs and
slide it in anywhere in the pack in my hands. So let's say you want to slide the card in
right over there and now we're going to flip the cards on the table face up. So the cards on the
table are face up. The cards over here are face down and we're going to mix them together. The
face down cards and now we're going to just put the two packs together so the face up cards are
mixed together with the face down cards and your card is now face down. But if I flip the cards
over your card will be face up. What I'm going to do is I'm going to make your face up card come
flying out of the middle of the deck and land on the table on the count of three. One, two, three.
Was that your card? The ten of hearts? No? Well that was pretty lame. Let me try something else.
On the count of three I'm going to snap my fingers and I'm going to make your card the
only card in the entire deck that's face up. One, two, three. Snap my fingers, spread the cards.
There's only one card in the deck that's face up and it's your two of clubs. Okay so here's
how you do this trick. Weed a fish out of water. Try an experiment. Any card you turn over in the
face up of face down cards and you drop the cards there will be a natural break right by that face
down card. So give that a try. You don't even have to bend the card. If you turn one card face up
and I give it a little twist when I drop it so you can find that spot real easily. So here is
how you do the how here's the performance. You take the card put it face up in the middle of
face down deck and you're going to spread and show the backs. You're not going to say look I
have all green backs but when you get to the middle you're going to block push so you pass
that face up card. So it looks like all the backs are green and then you go do the same thing. You
push the cards and then when you get to the middle you give it a little block push so they see all
the faces are different. So they do not see that card. Then you're ready to go. You give the cards
a drop and a slight spin just like that. A drop and a slight spin just like that and you will find
the natural break right over here. Let me try that again. Right there is the natural break. You can
see that. So you pick up the cards right here and what you're going to do is you're going to spread
these cards out for the spectator and these cards you're going to flip the pack over in your hand
so the spectator will not see that. So they will think all these cards are face down when they're
all face up. So now the spectator is going to select a card. Let's say they choose the
two of hearts and you're going to have them slide their card face down into the face down cards in
your hand and it goes right in the middle. Then you're going to flip these cards face up. So now
you're going to tell them you're going to mix the face up cards into the face down cards when in
reality there are only two face down cards. Their selection and the card that you set in the middle
of the deck face down to start the trick. So now you're going to mix the cards and what you want
to do is you want to do a nice tight little shuffle and you want to make sure that this green
card ends up on top. So you square the cards up. You say now your card is one of the cards that
are face down. So if I flip the deck over your card will be one of the cards that are face up.
Now you could clean up the trick another way by flipping this card over just like that but I'm
showing this for beginners. If you're not comfortable flipping that over and you think
it's too difficult of a move just catch the thumb break on the bottom card and say I'm going to have
your face up card now fly out of the deck on the count of three and all you're going to do is just
release that bottom card one two three and then they say no that's not my card. You put it on the
top of the deck face down. You've just cleaned up the trick and now all you have to do is snap your
fingers spread the cards and there's one card in the deck that's face up and it's their card the
two of hearts. So this is face this is triumph flip and it was inspired by guida fish
out of water. Let me know what you guys think. That's it. I'll see you next time.
