STORM WATCH: Wet roads with scattered showers and storms for Long Island

The East End is currently experiencing rain, with about a half-inch accumulated island-wide. While the heaviest morning rain has passed, spotty showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the afternoon and evening, bringing heavy rain and gusty winds. Wednesday will be drier but cloudy, followed by more storms on Thursday and a sunny weekend.
