Are the Texans’ Defense BETTER Than the Rams?!
Sep 4, 2026
I still like Houston's defense better than what I like the Rams defense because there
isn't defense.
Yes.
You need stars to be a really good defense, but you also can't have any weak spots.
And I do think the Rams have a couple of spots that you can pick on.
Not the Texans.
I mean, you've got two Pro Bowl cornerbacks.
You've got a Pro Bowl nickel defender.
You've got a Pro Bowl linebacker.
They also go out and they draft Cade McDonald in round two.
Like that defense is, yeah, they signed you Davey on Clowney, who was the best pass rusher
for Dallas last year.
Now he's the fourth edge rusher in Houston.
I just don't see how teams in this division, teams with bad offensive lines are going to
have any chance against Houston.
And they had a 30 to six wildcard beatdown win over the Steelers last year with CJ Stroud
playing some terrible football.
So if he can just kind of get back to any of the sort of form we saw in his first season
or two, like they they could be lethal.
Well, then we should mention even the game against New England, they lost by 12.
Nuka Collins did not play in that game because of a concussion.
And Houston also had five turnovers and they were still in that game.
So everything went wrong for them in the two playoff games.
Obviously, they beat Pittsburgh.
They lost to New England.
If CJ Stroud can just be a little bit better and they can have a little bit more luck in
terms of health, we should also mention they they really revamped the offensive line this
offseason.
I still expect it to be one of the worst in the league, but if it can be average with
David Montgomery running the ball, I could see them getting to 13 wins.
