2 pulled alive from flooded Nepal tunnels, sparking hope for more rescues

Rescue workers in Nepal have successfully pulled two individuals alive from the Trishuli 3A hydropower tunnel nine days after catastrophic flooding killed nearly 1,300 people. Despite the arduous conditions and lack of resources, the rescue provides a historic proof of concept and renewed hope for the approximately 40 people believed to still be trapped underground.
