She has done a brilliant job. She is one of the most promising performers. It's not just as a photographer I would judge her as a model. After seeing her film I realised that she is here to stay. श्रद्धा नोट ओंली इंप्रेस्ट आस विध अप पर्फॉर्मेंस बड़ ओसो उनके प्रोफेशनलिजम और डेडिकेशन ने कर दिया था डिरेक्टर मोहित सूरी को कलीन बॉल्ड. आशिकी 2 से श्रद्धा को इतनी होप्स थी कि वो इस फिल्म की सक्सेस को लेकर डिरेक्टर मोहित सूरी से भी ज्यादा शौर थी. और उनका यही फेथ ही था, मोहित का सबसे बड़ा सपोर्ट. परमोशन के दारान मैं आवाम से कहता था वहाँ पर जो होती थी बाग की ज़र्णलिस्ट भाई बेहनों से कहता था कि इनको जड़ा गौर से देख लो ये आने वाले दिन में आपके हाथ में आएंगे नहीं. जान सा मुखडा है तुम्हारी, होटो पे हसी है, दिल में करवान है, बस एक बर तुमसे मिलना चाहता हूँ. आशिकी टू के बाद श्रद्धा बन गई है सूपरस्टार और सरनली उनका पैन काउंट ऐसे हो गया है कि वो जहां भी हो उनको देखकर एकसाइडिड हो जाते हैं उनके पैन्स. मैं अच्छी रोड क्रॉस कर रही थी, आशिकी फ्रोम एक ग्रोसरी शॉप या कुछ, तो मैं अपने कार के तरह जा रही थी और ये जो तीन भाजी वाले जो हैं, वो मेरे पीछे भागने लगे, और आरोही आरोही करके चिला के, वो अपने कार के लिए तुम्हारी ब� बेट़ी और वो जोर से खटकट आने लगे, उन्होंने बोला की हमने आपकी पिछर देखी और ऐसे उन्होंने मुझे एक सलूट मारा, तो मुझे बहुत अच्छा लगा, मुझे बोला थाइक क्यूँ. अगर अपनी फामिली के लिए वो अब भी है सेंग क्यूट शरदा, जिनके लिए टैर और ब्रोक दोनों है प्रोटेक्टिव. बसिकली प्रोटेक्टिव तो हुई में और था, जगडे भी के उसके लिए स्कूल में, जैसे जैसे समय आके बढ़ता गया, वो और बसिकली प्रोटेक्टिव तो हुई में आपके लिए नहीं चाहते, जैसे आप में भाईया करते हैं. बुली करता था जरूर कि घर देड़ बज़े से पहले आना है, अगर भार जाना है आपको रात को, अगर किस के साथ जा रहे हो आप, मुझे है, मैं बसिकली प्रोटेक्टिव थी जिया था से पहले, और से नहीं चाहते थे. वह शीव भाई के साथ उनकी फ्रेंशप हो गयी था, अगर आज भी उनको सबसे ज्यादा डर लगता है अपनी मौषी पद्मिनी कोल्भापुरे से. And people know this in my family. They know that if Shraddha doesn't want to do something, that Shraddha isn't coming with us, tell Padmini Maasi to call her, she'll come. On the other hand, her friends, well, they were most scared of Shraddha's doting dad, Shakti Kapoor. I don't know what they were thinking. My friends were very stupid. Very stupid. My friends would be like, Shraddha is your dad? Really? That's scary in real life. And we are very scared to come home because he plays a villain on screen. So, we will not come to your house. But for Shraddha, Shakti Kapoor is one of the funniest persons. And his dad's funny roles are his favourite. Crime master Gogo. His style is hands down. And Raja Babu also. Nandu is everyone's friend. And these small nuances, he brings it himself into the character. So, he would tell me how he's thought about them somewhere. Actually, if someone comes up with crime master Gogi, I will play crime master Gogi, hands down. Crime master Gogo's daughter, crime master Gogi. It will be nice to play. Our crime master Gogi Shraddha is no less. To save herself from her dad, she has some super cool formulas. Me and my mom have this weapon. If we don't want my dad to know what we are talking about, we talk in Marathi. And he really will not understand much. He will understand a little bit and then... If we really, really don't want him to understand something, then we speak in Marathi P language. So, it makes it even worse for him. And then he is thoroughly confused and he will leave the room. Like, if in English I am saying, Hi, my name is Shraddha. So, in P language, you will say, And if you say, I don't like that person, you say, In the beginning, it's a little challenging to get. But then once you get that flow, it's good fun. And then nobody else can understand what you are saying. I crossed the limit of madness. I would cut all his newspaper clippings out and make an album out of it. It was a very bad time. My marks were not that good. So, I had to cheat. I got caught. If I tell you something, you will be surprised. She was never wanting to become an actor. She went to Boston University. She was studying very well. Once she came here, she was offered a film from a very big production house. So, I asked her, what happened? She said, they offered me a film, but I have to go back to Boston. I asked her, what did you think? She said, no. You film industry people are double-standard people. I will study, write and live well in Boston. I will make my career with my studies. People used to predict me in school that Shraddha will become a heroine when she grows up. And she won't do anything else. Shraddha is a drama queen. And she has been a drama queen since her childhood. Dressing her up, putting on make-up, making weird faces. There was a phase when I felt that everyone is saying this about me. So, I should change my profession. Then I got interested in wanting to become an air hostess. Or a doctor. Or a psychologist also, because I loved psychology. So, I convinced myself. I would actually end up doing everything else to become an actor on the side. Like, I would do my dance classes. Then I would become a part of the theatre plays. Then I came to realise that this is the truth. I want to act only. So, I ended up doing this. But there were many struggles in the path of acting. I have not got films on a silver platter per se. The misconception that star kids have it easy. Or whatever, you know. I have really had to work for it. And I have really had to give auditions also where I have not even been selected. And I didn't mind doing it because this is something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So, I was like, go for it. Shraddha continued her struggle with the Never Say Die attitude until she got the chance that she was waiting for. The movie was Teen Patti. In which she acted with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. My first shot was to look at Mr. Bachchan. So, that was even more hard. I had to turn and look at Mr. Bachchan. And I couldn't look at him. The box office of Teen Patti was cleared. But Shraddha was still hopeful. And she got the chance to show her talent in Yash Raj's Love Ka The End. That was actually my most difficult audition. There were five scenes. There were two songs. And I was like, is this an audition or I don't know. I think, Shraddha, you have that beautiful mix of somebody who can really be mainstream. But still help out a lot of filmmakers who may not have the big budget or the backing of a big studio. And be able to fit into a role which is indie. You know, or at least near indie. You know, you have that beautiful mix. And I really wish that you never forget that. Despite being a star kid, Shraddha struggled like an ordinary kid. And her teenage crush was like an ordinary kid. 7th or 8th was when I had my first crush. I think I went for Kaho Na Pyaar Hai with the bunch of friends and that guy who I had a crush on. And then I think I forgot about him and I had a crush on Hrithik Roshan. I made scrapbooks. I put up his posters on my wall. I crossed the limits of insanity. I would cut all his newspaper clippings out and make an album out of it. And my mom would think I've gone mad, completely mad. And I had gone completely mad for Hrithik. I still am, I think. So... Behind this innocent face of Shraddha is a very naughty teenager. And her childhood scams are legendary, just like her acting. On the 8th, I was going through a bad time. My marks weren't that good. So I had to cheat. I had to, had to cheat. I had these chits and I hid them under my pinafore. So when I was removing the chit, I got caught. On the 11th, I was a part of this big high school scam where I managed to get the semifinals papers. And then I got caught for doing that. And then I got warned that I will be suspended and thrown out of school. Shraddha sings very well. She was the fourth best dancer among Asians in America. I love food to another level. Shraddha sings very well. Lata Mangeshkar is my grandpa's first cousin sister. My mother has a beautiful voice as well. So I think somewhere it's come down in the family somehow. I think if she practices singing a little more she can also sing her own songs in movies. No wonder, Shraddha's biggest dream is to sing in her own voice. Shraddha is the face of Gen X romantic movies today. But she herself is a fan of classic Bollywood romance. My favourite all-time Hindi film is Pyaasa. Because I love the way the romance is portrayed in it. And it's really inspiring. It's very beautiful. Lady Gaga loves her favourite singer and Shridevi loves her idol Shraddha. Since childhood, she loves to look at herself in the mirror and dance. And just like this, she still loves all her old clothes and is very attached to them. And like every girl, Shraddha has a huge collection of shoes. I love to go out and dance and go dancing with my friends and dance alone in my room also. And she was the fourth best dancer among Asians in America. I have a fairly large shoe collection. Some of them are not only heels and pretty and girly some of them are really funky and colourful also. Shraddha loves food. She is a complete foodie. And whether it's food or making it she is an expert in every aspect. I love food to another level. I love fish. I eat fish very often. The rava fried fish and fish curry is made at my house. There are a few dishes that I make. Death by chocolate cake, which you must try. Then there is this Maharashtrian mutton curry which I have made. Which also is something that I made a few times so that I perfected it. She does everything with so much of passion and conviction. I think she just follows her heart. That's what it is. Ms. Go-Getter, Shraddha's effervescent charm and her cuteness makes her one of the most beloved Gen-X stars. And this USP of hers makes her the future of Bollywood.
