DANGER! Does the Ender 3 now have thermal runaway protection?
Yes, yes it does have thermal protection. So heres the thing, stock firmware on the Ender 3 is V 1.1.6. it includes thermal runaway protection. if you bought An Ender 3 from a second hand site, i.e: alibaba, you could have recieved one from older stock, IF however you buy an Ender 3 or Ender 3 pro from amazon, or an OFFICIAL Creality site, after april of this year, your model with have thermal protection, as it is now standard. if you buy an Ender 3 or Ender 3 pro, and it does not have this firmware installed, that is your fault for going to a cheap site, and buying an item someone else is reselling, just to get a deal, and in all honesty you probably get what you deserve. use Amazon, or the official site, and get a real Ender 3 or Ender 3 Pro. not an old version, and not a knock off.
