How to Make Cheap Fall Decor Look Expensive for Under $20 | High End DIY Dupes
Today I'm showing you how to make cheap fall decor look expensive — three high end fall DIY dupes for under $20 total. We're turning a dollar store frame into a vintage-look Halloween piece, giving a thrifted pumpkin a soft aged wood finish, and taking a plain Dollarama plate to an antiqued stoneware tray for the kitchen counter.

Every one of these projects uses the same simple idea: a light base coat, dark in the low spots, and a whisper of something on the raised details. That's the whole trick behind the designer look for less. No special tools, no priming, no sanding — just paint, a bit of wax, and knowing where to put it.

If you love budget high end dupes and thrift store makeovers, you're in the right place. I do these all fall long.

Which project was your favourite? Let me know in the comments — I read every one, and the ideas you send me end up in future videos.
