Lipno Lakeside Cabin by Les Archinautes is a 118-square-meter retreat in Lipno nad Vltavou, Czechia, designed as a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Bohemian Forest cabin. Built with an exposed CLT timber structure, larch cladding, and a pitched roof with deep overhangs, the house balances a compact, practical layout with carefully framed views of the surrounding forest, Lipno Lake, and distant mountains. Large and circular windows connect the interior to different parts of the landscape, while a wraparound wooden terrace extends the living spaces outdoors, creating a simple yet thoughtful relationship between architecture, nature, and everyday mountain living.
