Red Submarine Cabin is a 20-square-meter forest retreat in Wuhan, China, designed by Wiki World and completed in 2026. Inspired by the form of a submarine, the compact timber cabin features a vivid red exterior, circular porthole-like windows, a large picture window, and a skylight that frame different views of the surrounding forest. Its interior is organized vertically with a living area and sleeping loft, while the elevated structure preserves the existing trees and bamboo. Through prefabricated timber construction and carefully positioned openings, the project creates a compact yet immersive connection between architecture and nature.
