A lot of companies and their products claim to be must-haves.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
All of you claim to be must-haves.
You all say that.
And that's no different if you have a pet and you're looking to get pet products.
They all claim that they're must-have.
And I wanted to find out what products are actually must-haves.
So I went and bought a bunch.
We're going to test them with my cats, Kurt and Gary.
We have an unbreakable wand.
Speaks for itself.
Supposed to be a wand that never breaks.
And I will definitely, definitely test that out.
When I saw this, I was like, dude, I got to get this.
I don't know however, I've never heard of it.
But it is a must-have pet product that I found when I searched up must-have cat products.
So sounds very appealing.
And we're going to see if it actually lives up to its name.
Forever Stick.
Let's see if there's any science behind this bad boy.
It says, bend it.
The Forever Stick gets more flexible with use.
Bend it a few times to loosen it up.
So they're actually encouraging you to bend it.
Attach a toy.
Get involved.
La la da da.
Okay.
I didn't know if that was like any science.
I mean, it says 36 inches, durable design, ultra flexible rod, comfortable cork handle,
and a 360 swivel tip for less tangles.
So there's a little bit of science for you.
I'm kind of scared.
What if I break it?
It's not supposed to break.
They told me to bend.
I'm bending.
Well, it gets stiff down here.
It's more stiff down here, but look at them.
They're dialed in.
Look guys, we're bending.
We're bending.
Kurt and Gary love wand toys.
So this is the perfect, perfect cats to test this out with.
We got it set up.
So you can attach your own toys to this.
They got a little tiny feather on here.
We're going to really test this out with these dudes.
Get a little chase going.
Look at these boys.
Who's going to get it guys?
Who's going to get it?
Is no one going to catch it?
Oh, oh, I thought he did.
Come on guys.
Someone's got to get.
Oh, he got it.
All right.
Let's see.
Let's see this flexible power.
I mean, we got some bend going.
It has good bend and it is not breaking.
Let's see.
Yeah, it's pretty good.
Oh, it's bending a lot.
I mean, Kurt's loving it.
That's impressive.
I'm not going to lie.
I didn't know.
I didn't know how, how well this thing would actually work.
I love when they play with wands, bro.
It's great.
All right.
Gary has it now.
Now it's the Gary test.
It passed the Kurt test.
All right, let's see it.
The Gary test.
Oh, okay.
I mean, it didn't break.
Now the question is for the sake of the video, should I really try to break it myself?
Oh, dude, look.
You see all the things spinning?
I didn't realize that till right now.
Can the camera see that?
The feathers like spinning in the air.
That's kind of sick.
I've never seen that.
I mean, that's pretty good.
I'm putting some force on that.
Dude, maybe it's unbreakable.
Let me know in the comments if I should actually try to break this thing.
With like everything that I have.
We have a cat desk bed.
Another thing that comes up when you search must-have cat products.
I can't do it on my desk.
I didn't really think this through.
I mean, I definitely should have sold it when I ordered it.
But there's not an area that it can really grip on the edge of this.
I have these shelves over here that I could connect it to.
But with this specific desk bed that I got, it folds down.
And then the desk would be like, or the bed would be right here.
And that wouldn't make sense with where my chair is.
So I just kind of messed up getting this specific one.
I should have got one that elevates.
But we can test it downstairs on our counter.
But I just wanted to show you what it would be for a desk usually.
All right, we're clamping one of these sides in for the building process.
And it has padding on both sides, which is nice.
And we have the frame built of the bed.
So, so far pretty easy.
I guess it's going to come down to if Curt and Gary use it.
Number one and then number two, making sure it doesn't fall.
Because that would be, that would be a fail.
Final touches on this bad boy.
Here we are, the finished product.
And then to fold it down, you just lift and pull and then it drops down.
So you would have to imagine this on a desk.
I mean, I guess, I mean, you can do it wherever you want.
But it is made for a desk bed.
So if my desk had like a spot to actually attach it to,
I could just have this beside there to where they're not on my desk.
Curt and Gary, if I'm editing or something or I'm on my PC or whatever I'm doing,
they're going to want to sit right there on the keyboard,
all up in the way, which is adorable.
But they have their own space away from it.
It's pretty clutch.
Go ahead, buddy.
Look, test it out.
Oh my goodness.
He's going straight for it.
Look, lay down.
Please don't fall.
I mean, he had all four paws on there, so it held his weight fine.
You don't want to lay down right here, buddy?
Gary, look, imagine this, dude.
I'm right here.
I'm doing my work.
And we can imagine it's, you know, we're on a desk.
Not on the kitchen counter.
Actually, screw it.
We're on the kitchen counter, okay?
I do work right here as well.
Look at there.
I'm just doing my work.
Come on, lay down, lay down.
Okay, he does sit in it though.
And it does hold him up.
I bet Kurt would lay down if I put him in there.
Look at this guy.
One of my favorite sleeping positions from the young man.
Both paws just completely sprawled out.
Very adorable, buddy.
Very adorable.
Once Kurt gets up from his adorable sleeping position, we'll try it with him.
But Gary seems to be admiring it.
I knew it was only a matter of time with this guy.
I knew it.
All right, Gary, now you had your chance.
This is Kurt's now.
This is Kurt's time.
Look how adorable.
I just walked in on this.
The next must-have pet product that we're testing is actually the sponsor of today's video.
So thank you to Pet Pivot for sponsoring this video.
It's the AutoScooper 12.
And the standout part about this litter box is that it's under $150.
It's $149.
And that's pretty crazy.
It's pretty unheard of.
Has a ton of safety features.
And there's no app with it.
So it's pretty simple to use.
I'm gonna unbox it, test it out, see if Kurt and Gary like it.
See if it's a must-have product.
And I'm excited.
I've tested out like two or three litter boxes.
And it's always fun to see how they uniquely do it.
So I am excited.
There we go.
Some bags.
The charger.
Oh, I think these are the legs.
Oh yeah, they are.
Make sure you're not letting your kitten use this.
We had to...
Like Gary had to use a regular litter box until he was bigger and he got big quick.
Because now he's 10 pounds.
So he can use whatever litter box he wants now.
Putting our legs in.
There we go.
She is about ready.
Power this bad boy on.
Look at them checking it out.
Guys, it's just setting itself up right now.
So right now it's aligning with the litter chamber.
So this is like a two-minute process.
And then we can add the litter in.
All right, now our litter's leveled out.
I think it had to level out the litter.
I forgot about that part.
The litter's level, buddy.
There's an on and off button.
There's a litter added button which will level out the litter.
And then there's a clean button if you just want to click it.
Because there's manual modes and automatic modes.
The cat litter smoothing process it just did is pretty cool.
It's smoothing it out flat.
Looks like a concrete slab.
We're going to test out the cleaning process.
I'm going to put just squirt some water in here.
Because that's like, you know, if they peed in there.
And then we can test out the cleaning process
and the safety features and the sensors.
So here comes the fun part.
Let's act like they peed.
Oh my gosh, Gary, you just peed all in the litter box.
What are you doing?
I'm just kidding.
It's what you're supposed to do, buddy.
Cats do bury their pee.
He comes over here.
That's way neater than Gary usually does it.
Gary makes a mess.
So there's our clump.
And now this bad boy is about to slide down into the bin.
Boom.
And then we have our fresh slab of clean litter again.
Now we need to test the sensors.
I guess I'm going to have to use my hand and stuff
because Gary will not walk up to it.
And my hand is a cat, right?
Stops.
It's pretty reactive.
I'm trying to sneak.
Oh.
And oh, bam.
That's pretty good.
That's fast.
Go ahead.
Keep rotating.
How dare you?
Look, I mean, that's good.
That's good stuff.
That gets you peace of mind as a pet parent.
Has a little step ladder for them so they don't jump in.
They step in.
Look at there.
Oh yeah, he's using it.
All right, privacy, privacy.
Cut the cameras.
See if you can get in there.
You won't be able to.
There's Gary's clump.
We've actually already done this with water,
but that's actual litter.
Your clump's about to go in there.
Oh, what'd you think of that?
Kurt's just been sitting here bathing the whole time.
Kurt's about to get involved.
Guess I'll give him his privacy as well.
Stopped rotating because he got too close.
All right, back up, buddy.
Next, we have a self-massage brush.
It's like a corner brush that goes on a corner, obviously.
And your cat can rub on it themselves.
That's why it's a self-massage brush.
I used to have one of these at my old house.
And Kurt really liked it.
Gary has never experienced one before.
So let's see.
This also comes up, must-have cat product.
And in my experience, they've been good.
But, oh, this one actually comes with two.
So let's see if Gary likes it and if Kurt still likes it.
But look at that.
This little bristles.
Look at that, Gary.
Gary's so weird when it comes to being brushed.
He likes it, but he likes to play at the same time.
Oh yeah.
It's back, buddy.
All right, let's set him up.
Gary seems excited, even though he doesn't know what's really going on.
But we're going to put one right here.
Make sure it's cat height.
There we go.
Stick one.
He just rubbed his head.
Look.
Let's see.
Come on.
Look right here.
Okay, he'll have to self-discover it.
But he's still meowing at this one in my hand.
And then we're going to do the other one right here.
There we go.
Oh, yes.
Immediately.
See, Gary?
Did you see what he just did?
I had Gary watching.
Oh my gosh, he's going for the double.
He just went and checked both of them out.
Yes, sir, Kurt.
All right, you see him, Gary?
You see what he's doing?
That's what you got to do.
Let's see.
Oh, I thought he was going to do it.
I was like, dude, he actually just watched and learned.
But he didn't.
No.
But I love these things.
And Kurt does, too.
You are so sideways.
Want some?
Yeah, you were like, perfect.
The last product, no name on it whatsoever.
But I remember it was a pet hair removal glove.
So it's supposed to get hair out of furniture and your clothes.
So I need this, especially for clothes and our furniture here.
And we're going to see if it works.
There seems to be two different materials on here, both.
Or maybe they're just laid different ways.
But we're going to give it a good, good testing.
Because I need this.
I need this to work.
Must-have pet products.
If you have pets, you know this is a must-have if it works.
I don't really know which way to do it.
I mean, I can go through these.
Not very sticky on the hand.
My hand slides right out of it.
I guess I'll just drag it.
Oh, I see nothing.
Hold on.
I mean, they don't really get on the couch a lot, though.
You can see the hair on this bad boy.
So we'll really put this thing to the test.
Oh!
That is insane.
Dude.
Look at that, Kurt.
That's your hair.
And probably a little mix of Gary's.
Dude, that is insane.
Okay, it works on furniture.
Let's try it with clothes.
We have a shirt here.
I love wearing the color black.
It's like my favorite color.
And it gets hair on it.
This should be a good test also.
9clothingco.com
Shameless plug.
Here we go.
Please work.
Uh-oh.
I just got...
I think I got dust and hair from the couch onto the shirt.
Oh.
Okay.
Not really working.
And I want to limit the freaking dust I put on my shirt.
So big X and thumbs down on clothing.
But for certain fabric furniture, it worked really good as you saw.
Those were all of our must-have pet products that we ordered.
I guess you can decide what you think is a must-have
and which one you think is a not-must-have.
And let us know in the comments.
