Rodman goalless in DC's 3-0 loss to Boston as Shelton plays in NYC

Ben Shelton in the final of the US Open. It's probably hard to focus although she's focusing on that he's probably thinking about her game he's got to think about his own and she's probably thinking about him and I'd have loved to have known the last time they spoke to each other today on the phone because this is the biggest game of his life yeah and you'd want to be there so I've no doubt she'll be making every single attempt to get there all day long. Crossy does really well here to come inside St. George I mean there is contact even there Betty could have gone down in that moment there's a slight pull is it soft yes but there is contact and even that one there Betty could have gone down and as soon as Caraballi you know touches the player people might think it's soft but you can't do that. Absolute review no foul on the play Wow young teenager for the spirit Schepanski has just worked her way into much more prominent role as this match has gone on find Isata. Prince ready to pick up the pieces again she gets back to her feet Isata sneaks it into the corner strikes again late in the match the Isata magic continues everybody looked like they had stopped but Isata said give me goal number nine on the front foot for Washington Rodman staring down the goal Rodman with her left that is two times in the last couple of minutes that Casey Murphy has copped up a rebound and Gutierrez why not put it in by Gutierrez some icing on the cake to the Boston legacy talk about a heads-up play go in but it was brilliant playing great awareness they were going to give handball there I think look you can see the assistant referee signaling that's a heads-up play McKeever has no chance in that moment because Tara Rudd you know makes that mistake when they're in their build-up play but that is an unbelievable goal from Amanda Gutierrez the awareness to be Gutierrez make it two back-to-back strikes and stop it's time from Gutierrez and the legacy will be leaving Howdy Field today with three goals and three points
