It leads the listener through a journey of physical appreciation, self-compassion, and a visualization of their future self to reinforce the importance of living in the present and treating oneself with kindness.
Welcome to this meditation. I am so glad that you chose to listen to this meditation
and make time to listen to something that will hopefully lift your spirits today.
Whether it's in the morning when you need a beautiful start of the day
or the afternoon where you just need a nice reminder of the good things in your life,
or it's in the evening when you need to wind down and settle into sleep with positive thoughts,
this meditation will hopefully give you that feeling of bliss that we all
long for. You can do this meditation while you're on the walk, on the train or subway,
even when you're in the car, but I would suggest you to do this meditation seated
in a comfortable space where there are no distractions. When you're on the go,
try to focus on the words and on your breathing and imagine along with what I'm saying. Don't
close your eyes when you're walking or driving of course. So let's start. First, let's take a
deep breath together. We breathe in for four seconds and out for four seconds.
And again, one more time. Now go back to your normal breathing. Visualize yourself walking
through nature. You breathe in the fresh air, hear some birds and the wind through the trees.
It is a nice spring day and the weather is just perfect. Your skin feels refreshed.
As you walk through nature, you think about your legs that are holding you up so that you're able
to walk yourself from one place to another. What a gift that is. You think about your arms that
are making you able to cuddle the people that you love so much. You can hold them tight against your
body with your arms. What a gift that is. You think about your belly that is holding your organs
and giving you signals when you need to eat so that you don't starve and all the other things
it's doing every single day to make you function right. What a gift that is. You think about your
chest where your heart and lungs are that are giving you life without you having to think
about it. Breathing and pumping blood through your vessels every single day. What a gift that is.
And what a gift it is to give back to them by taking some minutes out of your day to focus
on these areas of your body and thanking them for all the hard work they are doing for you.
Think about how grateful you are to have all these things and to be alive. Really feel the
gratefulness in your body. There's no need to be harsh on yourself. Let yourself be. Let yourself
make mistakes and learn from them. Let yourself experience life in the now. Let yourself wear
what you want. Eat what you want. See the people you want to see and say what you want.
When you start doing things out of gratefulness it will not go to extremes. It will not fill up
a hole. It will feed your soul. Now visualize that you're walking through the woods and you
see another version of yourself walking there as well. It is you but five years later.
You see yourself glowing from happiness and you're the person you've always wanted to be.
You see yourself and start to walk towards the you from the future. You want to cry.
That is how happy you are to have this little glimpse into the future. The future you starts
to hug you very tightly and then it says thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for all that
you've done for me. Thank you that you kept me healthy. Thank you that you stayed away
from toxic people. Thank you that you let me follow my bliss. Thank you that you were nice
to me when I made a mistake. Thank you that you took care of my body. Thank you that you enjoyed
life and let loose now and then. Thank you that you chose love over fear. Thank you. Thank you.
I hope this meditation helps you to see life as the precious gift it is and not be so hard
on yourself. It is time to live it, to breathe it and to enjoy it. Look for the small things in life
to be grateful for and you will end up having so much more. Gratefulness is the big multiplier.
Have an incredible morning, afternoon or evening. Lots of love.
