My Van Broke Down… 2 Days Into Full-Time Vanlife 😩

I’m only a few days into full-time vanlife… and already things haven’t quite gone to plan. 😂🚐

I’d planned an amazing road trip through the Yorkshire Dales, but after noticing a problem with my van, I ended up stuck in Kettlewell for two days waiting to find out if I could get it fixed.

Not exactly how I imagined the beginning of full-time vanlife!

But being stuck in one of the most beautiful villages in the Yorkshire Dales isn't exactly the worst place to be, so instead of letting it ruin the trip, I decided to make the most of it.

I got the laptop out, found somewhere to work and focused on another big part of this experiment — trying to build an online income of £100 a day.

If I can eventually make that consistently while travelling, I might actually be able to keep living in the van for much longer than the month I originally planned.

So this episode is a bit of everything: the reality of vanlife when things go wrong, working online from the road, exploring Kettlewell and trying to figure out whether I can turn this new lifestyle into something sustainable.

But first… I need my van back! 😬
