AI GeneratedA 16-year-old nail technician shares a \"week in the life\" vlog, documenting her process for various clients. She details her favorite tools, specific application techniques for acrylics, and her approach to shaping and nail art, while encouraging viewers to practice their skills to increase speed and quality.
Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. I'm so sorry I haven't posted in literally like a month I think,
but November's been kind of slow plus I just always forget to film. And today I'm gonna be
doing a week in my life as a 16 year old nail tech. I have two clients today but unfortunately
one got caught into work so we're gonna have her Thursday instead of today. So now I have
a client at 6 35. She's getting a medium set. Here's the setup. Okay guys, so shook. I know
that I'm actually showing the process but I am filing the natural nails using a 240 sanding grit
bit. Um, I just got a new drill. I actually really like it. It's from Teemu which is surprisingly
don't hate on them y'all. They're actually really good. But I haven't done one of these in so long
guys because I'm not sure if y'all like them. So if you do definitely comment if you want to
keep seeing these type of videos. Gluing on her nail tips using Kiara Sky's nail tips. I love
these so much because they're like the boxy square not like the tapered square. The only
irritating part about these nail tips is that the like nail tips have like an etched inside so it
doesn't allow the glue to stick onto the nail which is really weird. So I do have to dip them
each in monomer to get like a sticky residue to be able to adhere to the nail and stick to
with the glue which is really annoying. So Kiara Sky please do not do that no more. I'm begging y'all
because I love love these tips. For prep I'm using V Beauty's primer and dehydrator. I just switched
to this and let me say my retention is bomb. I also use the Young Nails Bond. I love that as well.
That duo just chef's kiss. For application using V Beauty of course. I don't know this color because
I did mix up a few of their acrylics that I had left over but it is all V Beauty. I hope
and dream to be one of their ambassadors one day because like you see that little excess at the
bottom of the tip? Yeah I don't let that go to waste. I always use that as a second bead for the
cuticle. It makes the nail literally come out to the perfect thickness. Not too thin, not too thick.
It's just perfect. Comment if you guys want me to do a full-on application tutorial because I'm so
down to do that. It took me a while to master it but not so long. But also I'm very happy at where
I am with my application. At first I didn't really like doing application but now it's literally one
of my favorite steps. Look how bomb my application came out. So buttery. Now for shaping. I absolutely
love shaping. It's my favorite step. I'm using the Pana 6060 grit filers. I will forever say this
until I die. These are the best filers. The day I switched to them my shaping became so much more
crisp. Y'all need to go order some off Amazon. I'm going to link them down in the description.
If you see anything else in this video that you're interested in just comment down below and I will
totally give you the link. So I curved out the c-curve with a barrel bit and then I sealed the
cuticles and now I'm doing the design. Before I do the design I did buff with cuticle oil and a buffer
and then I went in with acetone and wiped it down for a smooth surface. I'm using the best
black gel polish which is the McCart one. I like to fill it in with the liner brush because when I
just fill it in with like the brush that it comes with it needs multiple coats. When I do this it
comes thicker and you don't need to do as many coats. Just one. Then I added her charm. She wanted
some butterfly charms. Also outlined the frenchies in silver glitter and then I top coated and then
filed after top coat. Make sure you're finishing by filing and here are the end results. So cute!
Just wearing a sweater and some sweats but gotta go set up so let's go. Tired. Okay guys it's the
next day and here I have my first client of the day. Love this girl. She's loyal AF to me. Um I
put on her tips and I prepped her nails and right now I'm putting on her primer and dehydrator of
course. The beauty pure. I actually just made a huge purchase from them so RIP my bank but yeah
she wanted a medium so that's the length. I'm sad that I have like no XL clients anymore because
this girl used to get XL but now all my clients are like going to their short girl but this is
not really short but it is low-key to me. For her acrylic cover I'm using peaches and cream from the
beauty pure of course. As you can see I don't like to waste any acrylic so I do like take it off
of the free edge right there and put it as the cuticle bead because acrylic's expensive AF so
you know I gotta use it all up. It probably takes me like 10 to 15 minutes to do application on both
sides now that I really just do the go and be method but it used to take me a while so never
feel discouraged guys just keep watching tutorials and make sure you're practicing.
All I have to say is application is going to get you places because a lot of girls ask me
how do I become faster and all I have to say is perfect your application because that just
like makes it less time on the filing part. My application came out bomb once again. I love this
color I always use it on myself. Now shaping guys please comment if you want to see a shaping
tutorial because I do do my shaping very specific so if you want to learn how to get this crisp of
shape comment down below and I will do a tutorial for that. After I filed the whole nail with my
hand file I'm going on to my e-file now and using my bit that I use for the natural nail to c-curve
that nail like file underneath to get that c-curve. I used to use like a metal barrel bit but then I
just switched to the sanding bit which is way easier so I prefer to do that over doing that
method with the like sealing bit too so I'm just doing this because this brings the whole set
together guys. If you're not using a c-curve on your nail sets then you're not doing nails in 2024
right? If you're still doing them boxy and no shape to them no moon curve get out of here because you
need to be. Now I'm applying cuticle oil on all the nails after sealing the cuticles because this
will help your like base become way smoother when you're doing your nail art. Filing with a buffer
and then using cuticle oil just perfect smooth canvas. My shape is always going to eat the
girlies up period. Now for the nail art I did her gel polish off camera but now I'm adding her
rhinestones so I'm using Shein gold rhinestones they're actually so good don't underestimate
Shein. I really want to switch to Lucille crystals like the ones from Sky Beads Online or like
Lucille crystals however you want to say it but I'm curing that with a mini flash cure because
if you just let it go in the lamp they might slip off the nail which that's so annoying when
it happens because it's like then it gets cured like in upside down or something. Look how bomb
that gold came out guys make sure you're also wiping your rhinestones with acetone and also
doing a frenchie with like a glitter under base. Okay so I applied top coat and now I'm filing the
free edge after top coat to get that crisp shape make sure you're always doing this so I file with
that first and then with the e-file to get the little like dusties underneath as well. This step
if you're not doing it girl find a new nail tech because this just brings the whole set together
sorry for the vertical angle but you're the end result so cute. Okay my next client came in at 635
my bestie westie loyalist bitch Delaney if you're watching this I love you boo she was an XL girly
but she um now gets medium which is so sad and I low-key want to cry for that. Okay so I'm using
peaches and cream again and also like in a red acrylic that I found randomly um in my stash so
yeah it actually wasn't too bad it actually dried I thought it wasn't going to but it actually worked
pretty good but I kind of wish I just did it with the airbrush because it low-key came out really
bad and I really hate doing ombres that's why I switched to doing them with the airbrush instead
it's just way easier. If you guys have any video suggestions please leave them down in the
comments because I low-key running out of content to make for you guys that's why I haven't posted
in a while because I don't want to be a content repeater I don't know just let me know. It's like
people pay for your vines bro. Okay I didn't get filing pics but here's the design before top coat
the final results these came out so bomb. So it is the next day waiting for my clients it's a mom
and her daughter a bestie deal. Okay so today I had a bestie deal a bestie deal is a service that
I offer which is two sets one for you and your person that you bring for the price of 80 any
length so basically like a cheaper alternative if you're getting like both long sets um so this is
a mother and a daughter that came to me today I'm doing the daughters first I did switch back and
forth so like I would do one application and then I'll do another application on the other person
switch back then to filing then do filing on hers then art then art so it wouldn't be as messy. Okay
here I'm doing the daughter's application first after I prepped and put on her nail tips I'm using
bad and bougie they both got bad and bougie and she got a medium length they both got a medium
which is a size seven guys these voiceovers crack me up I can't do them for the life of me
as I was saying a size seven is my longest medium anything above considered is a long
as I was saying my longest medium is a seven magnet so that's my most popular length right now
which is like girls you need to book xl so if you're watching this and you're wearing beige
please book xl her application came out so bomb so I did her mom's prep and application on camera
but I did it vertical for my tiktok so I don't know why I didn't change like the angle but here
I am doing her filing her c-curve and sealing her cuticles here's the shaping on her daughter's nail
and then here's the frenchies and then look at this bling so beautiful no lazy thumbs here of
course and I did some bows look how beautiful that thumb looks bro oh my gosh here's how the nails
came out so freaking cute I love the way they came out okay guys it's the next day I'm so tired from
this full week of nails so I didn't record much but here's how the nails came out she got a coffin
and they're so cute thank you guys so much for watching leave your suggestions
down below bye I love you all thank you so much for almost 300 subscribers
