Oregon Ducks discuss how they handle adversity

How have you seen the team approach that
this week in practice?
You know, Dan Lanning said there was plenty more
that you guys could do in the games
and certainly a lot of the mistakes were self-inflicted.
How have you seen the team handle that
this week in practice?
Oh, just being hard on ourselves.
You know, if someone gets a P.I.,
they gotta go get off the field,
touch a goal post, you're out for that play.
And then if you bust a coverage, whatever,
we're just way more harped on it,
way harder, coached way harder,
so that's really it.
What's the hottest game or practice
that you've ever played in growing up?
Well, I grew up in Texas, so it was pretty hot,
so I'm trying to think.
It was like mandated, so I think maybe like 98, 99 maybe.
Because over 99, I think you'd go practice indoor in Texas,
so that's the hardest practice I've ever been in.
Playing across the field from DeCorean Moore,
how have you seen him get through the last year
where he was a little hurt last year,
wasn't in the right mental space, as he talked about,
and how have you seen him kind of come through that
and be the player that he knows he can be?
Oh, obviously, I feel like he was a phenomenal athlete,
but I feel like he put everything together now this year.
I feel like now he just brings a lot of energy,
and then he's like way more confident in himself, you know?
And when he's out there, he brings juice, brings energy,
and brings more of a leadership role,
so that really stands out, and I've seen that from him.
