Dulce Maria Alavez missing: Family marks 7 years since girl vanished from NJ park

Family members and community supporters gathered Wednesday at Bridgeton City Park to mark seven years since Dulce Maria Alavez disappeared, continuing an annual tradition aimed at raising awareness and keeping hope alive that she will be found.

The gathering took place near the park swing where Dulce's mother, Noema Alavez, last saw her daughter in 2019.

"It's really hard," Noema said.
