The Streets of London That Survived the Blitz and Still Stand Today

For eight months between 1940 and 1941, the Luftwaffe tried to burn London out of existence, dropping more than twelve thousand tons of bombs and flattening over seventy thousand buildings. This is the story of the streets, houses and churches that the fire somehow missed.
