The speaker shares a seasonal wardrobe review and decluttering process as she transitions to fall in the Netherlands. She emphasizes a philosophy of mindful consumption, prioritizing comfort and sustainability over fast-fashion trends. Through a \"low buy\" approach, she evaluates her current possessions to make intentional purchases and reduce environmental impact.
Don't you just love a good dress with pockets? This makes me happy always. I really like this
dress, makes me feel feminine. I'm almost 40, I'm just gonna wear what I want. I don't care anymore.
I've had these for so long. I can really tell it's dusty. I think this one is worth it because
it's just really cute and I like it. Rocky, metal, casual. I was struggling. Honestly,
I was struggling this summer. It's just been too hot for like 80% of my wardrobe. It is
another knit sweater. I cannot wait for fall. These have to go now. They have to go. Somebody
loves you. I feel so overwhelmed by this right now. This is going to go there. All right, so
that's a lot of clothes. No matter how much I declutter every time I'm gonna do my wardrobe,
I'm still a little bit nervous. Hey everyone, welcome back. So today's video, we are going to
go through my entire wardrobe. People have been asking me for a wardrobe update for a really long
time now. I think it's been at least about two years since I last did a wardrobe tour. Since
the new season of like fall winter is just around the corner, this is always for me the perfect time
to kind of go through my wardrobe. First of all, I feel like it is always really nice to kind of
see all the items again, because I'm really like a fall winter wardrobe person, much more so than a
summer wardrobe person. So it's always nice to be, you know, reacquainted with some of my favorite
sweaters and all kinds of like cozier clothing items. But also, I feel like when you do this, it
is a really good incentive to not just like organize and declutter and all that stuff, which
is great, but also to not shop as much for the new season. When the new season starts, I always feel a
little bit of a temptation to maybe go shopping, buy some new items for my wardrobe for the new
season. Not that there's anything wrong with that necessarily, so if you do it intentionally, that's
fine of course. But for me, it's always nice to first kind of like really take everything out,
really root through my closet, see everything that I have, and kind of be like oh yeah, I forgot about
this one, or oh I can't wait to wear this one again. And it really helps with like just like
decreasing the temptation to just shop and add to your wardrobe without really knowing everything
that's already in there first. So that is always a really good reason for doing this twice a year,
in my opinion. And I'm also going to try on some stuff, show you some stuff, kind of work through
some things that maybe I don't really know how I feel about it yet. So as always, of course,
grab yourself something nice to drink for this video. I actually have made myself a nice cup of
tea as well, because I figured like why not have something to sip on as I go through my wardrobe.
I'm also going to clean it by the way, so I'm going to take everything out, go through it one by one,
give the shelves a clean. I don't know if they really need it, but it's always a good
chance and opportunity if everything is out, to kind of like give things a little wipe down.
So I'm going to do that as well. Lots to do today, so grab yourself something cozy to drink and join
me if you want. This video is also kindly sponsored by my friends over at Ruby Cup, and I'm excited
about that. So I'll tell you more about it later. For now, get cozy and let's get started. As you can
wardrobe. It's not super messy, but it also doesn't look that organized anymore. I always let
it get like this. When I do like a seasonal switch around declutter session, it always looks kind of
like neat and organized, and by the end of the season it looks like this. So yeah, there is some
work to do. It is actually still kind of like summer, even though here in the Netherlands the
temperatures have definitely cooled down and we've had like a week of lots of rain and wind
and fall type weather. So I am in the mood for fall. Like if you ask me, it's fall. But if you
ask the season, it's still actually kind of like the end of summer and not so much the start of
fall yet. So it's going to be a while, but I really look forward to being able to wearing my actual
winter clothes. So I thought I'd go through things one by one. So I'm going to get all of these out,
all of that out, and collect everything on the bed. And then divide it into three piles, which
are going to be keep, declutter, and keep but store away in this box for the season. I'm not
going to do a maybe pile today, I'm just going to go yes or no. I remember I did this last year as
well, and this is kind of also what I want to talk about in this video. The fact that I haven't really
like been shopping for my wardrobe for the last couple of years. I've done low buys, so it's not
like I haven't bought anything for my wardrobe. I have purchased a few things for it. But yeah,
I've talked about it before, but in case you haven't seen it. In 2025, I did a low buy of
three items for my wardrobe max, and I got three. Two of them were sneaker replacements, and one of
them was a hoodie that I'm also about to show you. And for 2026, I had a low buy of eight items. That
was kind of like my guideline. And I ended up getting exactly eight. So for 2027, I have set
the goal for myself of five things for my wardrobe max. And seven of the eight things that I bought
for my wardrobe this year, were all thanks to me switching out my wardrobe at the end of summer
last year. And being like okay, I could really use a few more summer dresses and summer tops.
I could use another pair of jeans and things like that. So I kind of like made a list for myself
and got all of those things in one go. I kind of just did one big order online in the sale.
Everything was 60% off or more. And I just got a bunch of things, and I sent back everything that
I didn't like, or that I didn't like the quality of, or that didn't exactly fit me. But I got seven
of those things crossed off my list. So that was great. It was a very intentional way to kind of
like fill up some of the gaps in my wardrobe. I think I have about, I can count later, but I think
I have about 55 items in there, something like that. So that was a great way to kind of fill up
those gaps. And then earlier this year, we went to a concert and I got a band t-shirt there. So that
was number eight. But it goes to show that I think you can really be super mindful and intentional
about what you want to add to your wardrobe after a season is over. And you can really evaluate like
okay, what am I missing? What do I have enough of? The thing that I have enough of for many years to
come is sweaters. I have so many sweaters. I love knitted sweaters, they are my weakness.
I love buying these, I love wearing these, so I have enough sweaters. And yeah, I think I have
enough of everything now. But you never know, and I might need to replace some things next year. So I
gave myself the number of five things. But this year, other than that one order that I placed to
kind of fill up some gaps that I still had, I haven't been into any clothing stores, I haven't
shopped online, not a single thing. I haven't looked online either, so I kind of do feel like
I stopped shopping for my wardrobe. And I stopped shopping just kind of like as a hobby, or for
entertainment, or for fun, and also for kind of like switching out and upgrading my wardrobe.
My wardrobe is far from perfect, and I think that's fine. Like, I am not the most fashionable
person on the planet, and I don't really care about it that much. I just kind of want to have
some things that first of all feel comfortable. Comfort for me is the number one thing. I cannot
stand wearing something anymore that is not comfortable, I just won't wear it. So I want to
have things that are comfortable first and foremost, and then also that you know look nice, and that I
kind of feel like myself in. And I feel like I've got those criteria met with my wardrobe, so I kind
of just stopped upgrading, stopped improving, stopped trying to perfect it. Because I know that the
perfect wardrobe does not exist, and this is actually good enough. And that has gave me so
much more peace of mind. This message is not to say like shopping is bad and you shouldn't do it,
I'm just kind of like sharing my my journey with my wardrobe and with shopping in general. And I
thought it'd be kind of fun to kind of just take you along and do this kind of like lo-fi, real
behind the scenes kind of vloggy style video. So before I get everything out and try some things
on for you, and show you some new additions and divide it into piles and all that stuff,
I do want to quickly show you this dress that I got, one of my new additions. I didn't really have
that many summer dresses, so I got two more, and this is one of them. It has pockets, which I really
like. I like the sleeves, I like the color. It feels really comfortable, because it's kind of
like flowy and it is fitted, but not too much. This is also like a ribbon type thing, so you can adjust
to how tight you want it to be. And I really like it. I've been wearing this in my videos a lot over
the past summer, and I will keep this in my wardrobe. I'm not going to store it away for
summer yet, because I think that we have still some kind of hot-ish weather coming up over the
next few weeks, and I might want to still wear this. So I really like it. Don't you just love a
good dress with pockets? The other new summer dress that I got was this one. I love the print
on this, very floral. I like it has these like ruffles here, which I really like. And it also has
like a ribbon that you can tie. At first I wasn't sure if this would be something for me, because
I don't know if you can see, but it has these like silver details that's a little bit sparkly. So I
thought maybe I would feel a little bit like overdressed. But no, I really like it. Apologies
for the lighting, I know like I'm a big white spot now on camera. I really like this dress,
makes me feel feminine, it's nice for the summer. Yeah, I have worn this dress a lot, I really like
it. I am gonna put this away for the season, because I don't think that I will want to wear
anymore this summer, or like what's left of the summer. Dresses are definitely one of my favorite
things to wear in the summer. And aside from these, I have a couple that you might already know. I've
had these for so long. I showed this in my like wardrobe declutter update video two years ago
as well, and I still have it. I still love it, I still wear it all the time. And then this one you
might also have seen me wear in videos a bunch of times. It is really short, so I don't feel
comfortable in this wearing it just like this. In my videos I'll just wear it like this, and then
when I'm going out I will wear this actually with like black tights and my Doc Martin boots. And if
it's a little bit colder, I will also put on my like jeans jacket over it. So then I do feel
comfortable wearing this, because otherwise this for me would be a little bit too short.
So that's how I wear this. And then I have one more summer dress that I have had for a while.
It's linen, and I'm not going to put it on now, because this just came out of the wash and it is
creased beyond recognition. So here I have a question for you too, because you know I don't
iron. I really don't like ironing, so I also don't have like an iron or an ironing board.
I decluttered those years ago, and usually I wear knits or things like this that just don't really
crease. But with linen it's become a bit of an issue. What I normally do is, I will just kind
of like hang this up overnight on a hanger. And then I will also wear it for an hour before I
leave the house, which also kind of like with the body heat some of the creases get out. So then
it's like half as creased as it is now, but it's still a little bit creasy. So I'm thinking of
getting a steamer for my clothes. But let me know if you have any experience with that, especially
with linen and like slightly thicker fabrics. I do really love this dress. It also has pockets,
which is great. But let me know if you have any recommendations for me when it comes to steamers
and clothing that is linen. Plus, I also want to show you something else, because this video is
sponsored by Rubicub. And I am always so happy to work with them, because these have revolutionized
my periods. They've made them so much easier to deal with. Plus, because I don't have to buy
single-use period products anymore, they have helped me save so much money, better for the
environment as well. So these have definitely been a game changer for me, and I always love to spread
the word. Rubicub makes award-winning reusable menstrual products like cups and underwear. I
have been using their absorbent underwear myself for the last two and a half years now, and I'm
still so happy with them. They still look brand new as well, even though I've washed these so many
times. I have their flow freedom underwear for heavier days, so these have made my periods so
much more comfortable. Because this fabric is buttery soft, super stretchy, and the absorbent
part goes all the way up to the back. So I feel really safe and secure with these. I have never
leaked once, not even on my heaviest days. And they hold the equivalent of three tampons. And then I
have their fearless underwear for lighter days. These are great too, they feel really light and
soft as well. And I love the prints on these, I think that's really fun. Washing them is a breeze
as well, you just rinse them in the sink and throw them in the wash on a cold delicate cycle.
They dry super quick, easy peasy. And they are sourced from ecotech standard 100 certified
materials and fabrics, so no harmful substances. And they come from extra small to 4xl. I have the
1xl myself. So I use these myself, but they also have a period cup which is supposed to be super
good. It gets 4.8 out of 5 stars out of more than a thousand reviews. So if you are interested in a
cup as well, then definitely check them out too. Rubicup is just one of those brands that I love
working with, because everybody wins. Your periods are going to be so much more comfortable,
you're going to save money because you don't have to buy single use period products anymore,
and it's better for the planet as well. Because of course, it creates so much less plastic waste,
so truly everybody wins. And they're a really cool company too. They always use eco-friendly
packaging and shipping, they finance an educational system in Kenya. And for each Rubicup purchased,
also donate one to someone without access to safe period products. So I highly highly recommend
checking them out. And you can find my link and discount code in the description box,
vera15, for 15% off. Thank you so much to Rubicup for, first of all, supporting the channel, but
also just really making my periods so much better to deal with over the last two and a half years.
And let's get back to the video. My hair is already looking weird because I changed. Let
me take a sip of my tea. This is white tea with jasmine and orange. And I've really been loving
this, it's perfect. It's nice, still a bit cold, but that's not a bad thing today. Let me show you
another outfit that I've really been loving this summer. So it's this one. These are linen pants,
and it's kind of hard to tell, because this is also blue and this is blue, but they are
a dark blue. And they have nice deep pockets, and they are a little bit cropped, which I really like.
Usually I will wear this with a different white t-shirt, but it's in the wash now. But these have
been so comfortable the last summer with all of the heat waves. I've kind of been living in these
linen pants with like a t-shirt. And I dress it up with, you know, some jewelry, some accessories.
Obviously my mic won't be on here normally, so I make it look cute. But it's just really
comfortable. I've had this top for I think about five years at this moment, or no longer actually,
probably more like six or seven. This one I've had for about three years, so it's not new, but I've
just been wearing it a lot more recently than before. And then I pair it with something really
cute, which is my canvas miffy bag. So I just kind of wear it like this, some cute sneakers,
and this makes me happy always. The funny thing with this miffy bag, I got this I think about
maybe two years ago, something like that. Actually my boyfriend got this for me as a gift.
And it's from The Hema, which is a kind of like Dutch Target type of store. And they were readily
available back then, but now this is actually kind of one of those like rare items that people really
want, but are sold out everywhere. So for once, I'm being really really trendy and I have something
kind of like special. But my boyfriend got it for me, I think it was 12 euros back then. It's
actually really good quality. It has a zipper, which I always like because I don't like to wear
stuff in a canvas bag if I can't close it, just because of safety stuff. It's also lined, it has a
little pocket in here, so I really like this. And yeah, as I said, this kind of makes me happy.
I really like this outfit, I've been wearing this a lot. And then something else that I got new
are these, yeah, what are these called? Like baggy, kind of like same, the same shape as this one
actually, except this is not linen. But I like this one too, I've been wearing it this summer.
It's one of the newer editions, but I think it's gonna last me many many years. I like that this is
not see-through, but this is going away for next season. I don't think that I'm gonna wear it in
the coming months anymore. Let's see, I have some more new things. I might actually put this on so
you can see. It's a pair of jeans and a really cute lace top. I've been combining these together.
They make me look really cute and feminine, but I'll just put them on so you can see. So it's this
lace little blouse that I really like. And then, am I in focus? And I wear it with these jeans, I really
like them. I like that they are a little bit more baggy, they are comfortable, which is important
when it comes to jeans. Because I've tried many that I just don't really wear a lot, because
they're not comfortable. Ignore the frizz, I washed my hair yesterday, it's kind of frizzy.
But one thing, I don't know if it's like coming across with this top on the camera, but it is
kind of see-through. But because I'm wearing like a nude bra, I don't think it shows that much. But
it is kind of like a little bit sexier, which I always like. But I have to kind of be in the mood
for it. And I love this little detail. I think it's really fun and cute. One thing that I have noticed
with this though, I've never like worn anything lacy like this, at least not in the recent years. And
you really want to be careful with this. Like, I have worn this with my winter coat that has a zipper
last year, I think. Or yeah, this year, but like in January, February, when it was still winter.
And sometimes if it's not like super cold, I'll just wear something like this with like a big
coat over it. But then with the zipper, I was really close to like ripping the lace a couple
of times. So every time I wear this, I'm like really really really careful, which is not ideal.
I don't want to like have to pay attention to that if I can help it. But I think this one is
worth it, because it's just really cute and I like it. Something else that I got new that is very
different from this, is a band shirt. Because this year we went to see Iron Maiden live. I have
been wanting to see Iron Maiden live ever since I was like 15, which is 23 years ago. So when we
finally got the chance last year to see them, I also really wanted a band shirt. So this is my
eighth, this took up my eighth slot for this year, for the low buy. But yeah, it's this band shirt.
I know that for people who are not like familiar with metal or Iron Maiden necessarily, this might
seem like a kind of a scary thing. But I promise it's not. Like these people are super super nice,
it's not, it's just metal, you know. But I really like this. I've been wearing this a lot with my
jeans that has lots of like holes in it. If I want to feel like a little bit like
rocky metal casual look, then I like to put on that. With this one, I like that it's like
girly and feminine, and I like to dress it up with like some big earrings, some rings, you know,
things like that. This one is different, actually I'll show you. I really like this. When it comes
to clothing, I find that I have many different kind of like identities or like moods. Sometimes
in a mood for something a little bit more girly, or like a dress, or like the top I just had on.
Sometimes I'm in a mood for something more casual, more like rock. And you know, I like to have
several kind of options for different moods, or different kind of like personalities or something.
So I really love this shirt. I've been wearing this, and I'm going to be wearing this a ton as
well. I have one more band shirt, but I've had this since I think 2023 is when we saw
the Smashing Pumpkins, and I got this band shirt there as well. And I wear this the same way.
So I have been wearing this a lot as well. I always really like buying band shirts at the
concert that you actually went to. I think it makes it a little bit more special, kind of like
as a memento. With this one too, it has all the tour dates on the back. And the one in Amsterdam
is the one where we were also. So I don't know, I think that's kind of special. I always really
like that. Let's see, what else do I have new? This one I don't think you have seen a lot. I
have worn this in videos sometimes, but not that often. Because I kind of feel like the color
on camera kind of washes me out a little bit. But I do like it, so I'll put it on
so you can see. So it's this top, it has a turtleneck and a little puffy sleeve.
And I have it tucked in. Usually when I wear this, I wear it with my black skinny jeans. These
actually are really snug on me right now, because they just came out of the wash and I actually
gained about like maybe two, three pounds over the summer. Because I have not been working out,
and I have not been on my daily walks as much. With all the heat waves and everything, I was
just like no, we don't have air conditioning, I'm not gonna like... I was struggling, honestly,
I was struggling this summer. So I'm happy that that's hopefully over. But this is kind of snug
on me now. These jeans I've had, seriously, I think I've had these for like 15 years or something.
It's absolutely crazy. I still wear them, but I do think that these might be up for a switch around,
like a one-in-one-out situation next year. Because I do always, usually when I dress, I wear either
skinny jeans and something a little bit puffier, or like bigger jeans and something a little bit
tighter. Usually, not always, but I do like having black skinny jeans. I think that this
might be the year that I'm going to get new ones. Just because these are, I don't know if you can
really tell on camera, but they are just kind of like used up a little bit. Which makes sense,
because I've had these for so so long. But this top, I've had since I think 2024. I haven't been
wearing it on camera that much, I have been wearing it a little bit more in real life.
But I sometimes, I just don't really know. Because I like it better in real life than I do on camera
for some reason. I don't know if it makes me look a little bit washed out, or if it's nice. I'm just,
I'm not exactly sure. But I will give this a go the coming season, because this is a really thick
fabric. It's not really suited for the summer, but perfect for the autumn. So I'm going to give this
another try this season, and see how I like it. These jeans I might have to replace next year.
Same with, I have one more pair of skinny jeans that I've had. These I've had a little bit less
time, maybe five years. But they are also just kind of starting to go. So next year I'm going
to do a low buy of five items. That's going to be my guideline anyway. And I think that two of these
are going to be replacements for my black skinny jeans and my blue skinny jeans. These are kind of
like a millennial giveaway, because I have these on and I roll the sleeves, the pant leg up a little
bit, and I wear it with sneakers, with like no socks, or sneaker socks. Which I feel is typical
like millennial giveaway. I actually have some more things that I can show you. This is a little
hoodie. I've been wearing this in my videos a ton. I got this in 2025. So this is the hoodie that I got
in 2025. It's cropped, and then I wear it usually with just a very basic tee underneath. And I really
like that combination. I love the color. I think this is a really good color for me. So this I've
been really loving. This one I've had for a long time. And then one of the seven things that I got
this year. I showed you the dresses, the one pants, and the lace top. This is another one. It's really
snug and tight, but it is a knit. It's very stretchy, so I think that's fine. And I still
really like this. I love the charcoal, I love the stripes. I like combining this with a necklace
actually. Let me show you. I have all my jewelry in this little case. I've had this for a while too.
And this necklace I got from my boyfriend as a gift, because we went to see Lorde in concert
in November 2025. And it was a really special, amazing concert. I've been a fan of Lorde for
a long time. My boyfriend listens to her music often too, and so we both really wanted to see
her live. And she came to Amsterdam, but it was a really small venue. Only 6000 people when normally
she performs for much larger venues, and large festivals, and thousands and thousands of people
and stuff. So it was a small venue, very, I don't know, intimate. It felt very special. Everyone was
just so excited, everyone was singing along. This was the one concert that I went to where the crowd
was actually louder than the music, and the music was loud. So it was a very special evening. And to
remember that, my boyfriend got me this like Lorde concert merch, and it said I saw Lorde's ultrasound
2025. So I really love this necklace, and I have been wearing it a lot, especially
with this one. I like the combination. I also like it with this one, so I think that looks cool too.
And then I will wear it with my silver rings, because I have a bunch of rings, both in gold
and in silver. And it's kind of, I don't know, depends on my mood and the kind of like top I'm
wearing, if I'm gonna go gold or silver. Usually I'm wearing quite a few jewelry pieces. I always
like to combine them. Again, kind of, I feel like a broken record, but I have had all my jewelry pieces
except for that one necklace also for many years. I think the oldest one that I still have is
probably this one. My little bracelet, I got this in Japan in a temple in 2015 I think. And
it said Koi, which is love. So it's special, I've had it all this time. Still love this, still wear
it. And this I think is the final piece that you probably have not seen yet. It is another knit
sweater, so I allowed myself one more knit sweater, knitted sweater. But it's this one,
I really love this. It has like a sort of turtleneck situation, but an open shoulder.
I'm not gonna put it on now, because I, I don't know, I don't really feel like putting on
another turtleneck and having to redo my braid and everything. But I'll insert a clip of a
tea time chat video that I did for channel supporters, where I was wearing this last
winter when I got it. I really like this, I think that I'm gonna wear this a ton the coming season.
And I think that that kind of is it, like the things that are new. Most of these things I have
had for many many many years, and these ones I have had for even more years. So I'm gonna go
through everything now, just the last things, take everything out. There are some things that I do
want to declutter, I don't actually know where they are. I can't see them now, I don't know where
they are. I'll, I'm sure I'll come across them at some point. So I'll take you through my process.
I switched back into my comfy dress for the rest of the video. And yeah, I can go through these
really quickly, because you, if you've seen more videos from me, then you are familiar with all of
these. I'm gonna keep these, I love these, I cannot wait for fall. I cannot wait to be able to wear
you again. So I'm gonna get all of these out of storage and into my closet. This one is also quite
special. I've had this ever since I started the channel, but more so like five years before that
even. And like, if you go back and watch my first ever videos on the channel nine years ago, then
I'm also still wearing this. I love this, it's nice and oversized. I love the big oversized turtleneck.
One of my favorite sweaters. Still in great condition, honestly. Like some of these, it's
bizarre how many times I've used these, and worn them, and washed them, and they're still great.
Then, what is this? Oh, these are thermal leggings. Okay, last year I got myself a couple pairs of
thermal underwear to wear underneath my loungy stuff whenever I'm at home. Because I always try
to not have to use the heater as much. First of all, it's crazy expensive to do that, also for
the environment as well. But also, this apartment is really old, and it's not super like well
insulated and stuff, so it gets really cold here in the winter. We can't really heat it up. I mean,
we could like blast the heaters all day and not open a window. And I think that if we did that,
we could get it to somewhat of a comfortable temperature. But we are both very much people
that we also want to have some fresh air every now and then, and not blast the heaters all day.
So I got myself a couple pairs of thermal underwear, and I highly recommend, because they
keep me so warm. If you don't know, usually when I'm at home, I work from home, I'm here a lot.
Typically, I don't really get dressed whenever I'm at home. This is like a confession that usually
I'm just wearing my pajamas, like my comfy cozy things, whenever I'm in the home. Because wearing
clothes really drains me a lot, even if they're comfortable. Like, I just, I want to be extra
extra comfortable when I'm at home. So usually I will wear home type clothing, pajamas, things like
that. So anyway, thermal leggings, highly recommend. I'm gonna get these out, because I'm going to
use these next year as well. But these I'm going to declutter, because these are like yoga pants.
I think I showed these in my last declutter video two years ago, and I was like, these are
so over. I like, they're like barely holding on. I should declutter these, and I still haven't,
because I get attached to comfy things that I've worn a lot, or something. I don't know,
these have to go now. They have to go. Same with these old pajama tops, that the pants that went
with them, I've decluttered years ago as well. And I kept the tops, but they are worn out.
They're just worn out. These have to go. But look how cute. Somebody loves you.
I have to let these go. I have to. This is probably the last year that I will keep my
hoodie. This is the only hoodie that I have still, I think, aside from the one hoodie that is cropped.
Because I typically found that I don't really like wearing hoodies. It kind of like pulls on
my neck a little bit too much. I don't like the sensation of having a hoodie. And also, this is
old. Look, you can see how old it is. And this is like, I don't know, 12 years I would say,
something like that. I sometimes wear this when I'm going on a morning walk, and I don't really
feel like putting on a jacket. And I'll wear this because it's really really warm. This one I showed
in my previous wardrobe tour video, and I was like, what do you think? You know, because it's
oversized. And people were like, yeah it looks cute. So if you wear it with like tighter fitting
jeans, usually I'm really like either a jeans and a top kind of person, or a dress. Very simple.
So these I wear with skinny jeans. They are definitely very oversized, but I still like
them. They're still in good condition. Why do I say they? It's it, it's one thing. But I like it,
I like the little detail on it. You know how I talked about before, like having different like
identities when it comes to my wardrobe. Sometimes I just want to wear something really oversized,
and I don't know, kind of be a little bit comforted by the fact that I'm wearing something
really oversized or something. So that's when I typically reach for something like this. This one
I've had for many years as well. People always comment when I wear this in a video that they
like the color. I'm still not exactly sure. I like the color too, I don't really like,
I don't really know if it's my color necessarily. But this is the warmest sweater that I own.
Absolutely crazy. If I'm cold, this is the answer. And it's nice and boxy, a little bit cropped. So
again, I like to wear this with tighter fitting jeans. And that's usually what I'll do. Two more
knitted sweaters. This one you will be familiar with. Also, if you've seen more of my videos,
I wear this every fall. So I am looking forward to putting that on again. And this one also,
nice and a little bit like oversized. I love the fit of this. Even if it's not, like sometimes they
say like, yeah it's not super flattering or anything, but I don't really care about something
if it looks like flattering, or if I look a little bit bigger or a little bit skinnier in something.
I don't really care about that that much anymore. I used to care, like I used to have some, I don't
want to say like body image issues, but I used to be kind of insecure. Now I'm just like over it.
I'm almost 40, I'm just gonna wear what I want. I don't care anymore. So yeah, I really like this
one. Very comfortable. I love wearing this with silver jewelry for some reason. This one I have
changed my opinion about. I'll show you because I wore this two years ago in a video as well. It is
one of the few pants that I own that isn't jeans, but it's like a dressier. I like the other ones
are like super super casual. This one I've kept around in case I need to look like put together
for something. For like, I don't know, a meeting or whatever. Where I feel like, okay I need
something a little bit like less casual. And I still like this, but the thing is just that it is
kind of tight fitting, and it's not stretchy at all. It doesn't, it doesn't give, there's no give.
And that's just why I haven't really reached for it. I don't really like to wear it. It's just,
it's not comfortable. However, I figured like I'm gonna declutter it since I don't really grab it.
But I have changed my opinion about that. So when it comes to decluttering clothing, I'm kind of at
the point now where I feel like I don't have that many things. They can all easily fit in my wardrobe
without any trouble. I don't really feel like I need to like be ruthless when I'm decluttering
anymore. And I, this is a good pants, like it's high quality. It wasn't cheap. I think this was
like 100 euros or something, 110 maybe. So I'm just like, why declutter this? And then, I don't know,
a year from now, have a situation come up where I need something like this, and then have to buy it
again. Since it's not like in the way, it's not like I have like 15 or 20 things like this that I
don't really wear. In that case, I would be more critical. But in the past, I have decluttered
some things that, looking back on it now, I kind of wish I still had. So I just don't really see
the reason for me to declutter this. Because yeah, what if I, you know, need it? I just don't really
see the point. So I am going to keep this. I will put it in the storage, even though it is on season
right now. I think that I'm probably not going to wear it unless I actually need something like this.
And then I'll, you know, it's easy to get it out of storage in that case. So I'm gonna put it in this
bin, but I am going to keep it around. Same with this one. Shorts. I have not worn this once in the
And you know, I don't want to have to buy more shorts if I still have one that fits and that is
in good condition. The zipper is open, so it looks a little weird now. But it looks nice when I have
it on. This summer I've just been wearing dresses, my linen pants and everything, and this is so much
more comfortable than shorts. So yeah, maybe if I haven't worn this next summer either, I'm just
going to donate this and print it into my brain that I'm not really a shorts kind of person
anymore. But for now, I'll keep it for one more season. This one I am going to declutter. It
actually has the tag still on, which is something that rarely happens to me. I showed this in my
video two years ago as well, and I was like, I'm gonna keep it, see if I wear it. And I haven't
worn it because the tag's still on. So I just, there's something about the fit of this and the
feel when I have it on. It feels a little bit uncomfortable in the crotch area,
which bugs me a lot. So I'm going to donate this. Hopefully someone else can get lots of use out of
it. Especially nice when you can donate something where the tag is still on. I feel like that might
improve the chance that this gets sold to someone else. So this is going to go there. And this one
I'm also going to declutter. Kind of like with a little bit of pain in my heart, because it's
linen and it's from a sustainable company, and it's really high quality. But it's too tight,
it's too small for me. So it is this, yeah, what is it? Like a wrap top that you put on and you
cross it. I need to be careful with my mic. You cross it over and then it has these huge
things on there that you can wrap around your body and put in like a big bow in the front.
It's a beautiful little piece, but I haven't worn it because it's too tight,
it's too small for me. So I got gifted this, which also makes me a little bit sad to not be able to
wear it. It's the same brand as the linen pants and the linen dress that I do still wear a lot.
But this I need to donate. And then I have a few more tops. I wear all of these. I showed them all
in my previous video as well. Just some basic tank tops. I have this one with a little lacy
detail on the top that I really like. I have my white lacy blouse that I still like to wear a lot,
like a really simple gray basic long sleeve tee that I typically wear under stuff in the winter
when it gets really cold. This one I wear all the time in my videos, I still really like it.
I'm gonna keep this in my closet as well, because it's gonna be a while before it gets too cold for
this. I think I can still wear it, and just like a basic black t-shirt. You know them, you've seen
them. This one I'm excited to be able to wear again. My oversized shirt, also in linen. And I
wear it with this linen top, usually underneath, which I also really like. I think this is a good
color on me always, kind of cropped and boxy and oversized. Looks really nice underneath this one,
or this one. And then typically I will wear this on my black skinny jeans, and just have this like
buttoned open. That's one of my outfits that I really like, so I'm excited. It's just been too
hot for like 80% of my wardrobe. And I'm like debating if I want to show you all of these,
but I think actually seeing these you might recognize many of them. Like this one I wear a
lot, this one I wear a lot. My Studio Ghibli sweater. This one I still have, the black one I
still have, the striped one I still have. This is all kind of old, much used, much loved, and it's
going to get more love and use again this year. The rest of my jeans, I do still wear these. Although
these are not my favorites, so we'll see by the end of the year how much I wear them. I always,
when it comes to jeans, since I'm really like a jeans and a top kind of person with some sneakers,
usually I have, you know, a couple different options. I have lighter jeans, I have darker
jeans, I have skinny jeans, I have baggy jeans, I have two jeans with holes in them and the rest
not. So I can kind of like to, you know, depending on my mood, just pick the kind of jeans that I want
to wear that day and then pair a top with it. That's usually what I'll do. So I like to have
some different options. This one I also keep in my closet. It's, I got this as a present from my
boyfriend. It's a nice hot water bottle and it came with a sleeve, which is a very genius system. You
can put it in here and it's nice and warm, and then you can wrap this around your stomach. I use
this all the time when I'm on my period. It helps so much. Just the hot water bottle already helps,
but because you also have it on your stomach, it kind of pulls on your back a little bit. And I
don't know about you, but my back always hurts, really bothers me when I'm on my period. And so
it helps with the back pain as well as the cramps. So I, it actually doesn't really belong in my
wardrobe or anything, but that is where I keep it. And I really like it. If you haven't tried
something like this yet, I would recommend checking if you can find something, because
it's really nice. I have a little simple hat that I wear on my walks if it is really sunny.
And yeah, now I only have some sleepwear and some homeware that, I think it's a little bit dusty.
Definitely need to clean these shelves. Anyway, I have some sleepwear and some homeware. I don't
think that I'm gonna declutter any of this, but, or actually I do. This one, this one needs to be
decluttered. No, I'm gonna keep this for one more year. I'm gonna allow myself. I have a couple like
summery pajamas that I don't wear unless it's actually like heatwave temperatures, which I hope
we are past. So those are going in the box. Yeah, and these I'm gonna wear again this season. Just
you know, some homeware and stuff. I typically have a lot of this kind of stuff, just because
I wear it all the time whenever I'm at home. Typically when it comes to like pajamas and
homeware and stuff, I will wear it and use it for about like maybe three, four years. And yeah,
after getting a lot of use during those years, and a lot of washes and stuff, usually by that time
it's time for an upgrade. So then I will switch them out. That one, that is my winter coat. It
isn't cold enough yet to wear this, but I think that I am gonna take it out. Because I think that
I'm gonna bring it to the cleaners before the season starts. I think this will be the fourth
year that I wear this jacket or this coat. I really like it still, but it's that kind of
fabric where it looks like wool. It's not, because I'm vegan, so I don't wear wool. But it's kind of like
a plant-based wool type fabric, so I cannot throw this in the wash unfortunately. So I think that
I'm gonna bring this to the cleaners and have it like spruced up a little before the season starts.
Because it's a little bit, I don't know if you can see, but yeah, you can see it's not looking too great
right now. A little bit pilly. I just like want to give this a little refresh. So I'm gonna put this
I think in a shopping bag immediately, so that I don't forget to bring it to the cleaners tomorrow.
Along with this little jacket. I have had this since 2023, I remember. Because I bought it
when, just right before we went on our London trip. Also for a concert actually, that was a
Joe Hisaishi concert. That is one of my bucket list items that I got to do that year. Very special
for me. It's not really like a winter jacket, because it's not warm enough. More so like a spring
slash autumn kind of jacket. And I want to give this a little refresh to the same kind of fabric,
same kind of issue. It makes sense because I've worn this so many times already, and I want to get
lots more wear out of this. So I'm going to give this to the cleaners as well, and just have it,
you know, refreshed. And then lastly, I have two more kind of like spring slash autumn jackets.
This is my jeans jacket that I talked about before. I usually pair this with a dress
when it's like a little bit chillier, but not super chilly. I really like this, I've had it
for many years. Actually yeah, also since 2023. And then I have this one, which is also linen,
and it's really cute. I like the print and the fabric. Let me grab a shopping bag to put my
clothes into, because I'm the kind of person who will postpone doing this for months,
even though it's like almost no effort. Speaking of things I've had for many years,
this shopping bag is so old. But it's clean, works fine.
Please ask me when this video goes up in the comment section if I've done it yet,
if I've brought this to the cleaners yet, because I want to be held accountable.
And as I said, I'm the kind of person who will procrastinate on doing this for a long time,
if no one stops me. So ask me about it, so that I will be embarrassed if I haven't done it yet,
and then make myself do it. All right, so that's a lot of clothes. It always looks so bad when you
just pile it on the bed like this. Really crazy. And it's not even like a huge wardrobe or anything.
But anyway, all this stuff I will keep. Some of them I will put in the box away, because I won't
be wearing them anymore until next summer. So I'm going to get on that. That stuff's going to be
decluttered. This hoodie, probably I'll keep it for one more season, but it actually kind of does
need to be decluttered. And yeah, that's it. I think also I want to take out my bags and stuff.
Over there I have underwear, workout clothes, and under there are my winter slippers. I'm going to
wipe down my closet, give everything a nice clean. And also underneath my bags and stuff.
Then I'm going to have lunch, and then I'm going to put everything back. So catch you later.
Actually, with the exception of one of these shelves, they were really not all that dusty.
And I think I have my boyfriend to thank for that, because he always does the dusting in this house.
Because he knows how much I hate dusting. And when he does, I think he always also does my wardrobe
for me. So very sweet. It was actually not that bad. I feel so overwhelmed by this right now.
I don't know where to start. If you don't know where to start, start easy. At the easiest place
for you. Which in my case are jeans, because they are easy to fold and I already know where
I want to put them. So these are going to go. These two I am going to donate, because they're still
in good condition. These are just going to need to be decluttered, because they are not in good
condition anymore. I decided to let this one go. It's just, it's time. I've had this for a really
long time. It has served its purpose. Same with these, although this is a little bit more
with a pain in my heart. But yeah, trust me, these don't look good anymore when I have them on.
So these are going to be decluttered. This is going to be donated. And this is now the end
result of my wardrobe. It does look a little bit better. Although it is still, I find it
sometimes difficult to organize, especially knitted stuff. It's difficult to fold it neatly.
And with these shelves, it's, I don't know, it's a little bit tricky for me to make this look good.
What I've kind of tried to do, is put like light knitted stuff here, and heavy knitted stuff there.
So this is like when it's not super cold yet, and this is when it's a little bit colder. So there is
some a difference there. And as you can see, I have plenty of sweaters, jumpers, however you
want to call them. Hi my sweater friends, I can't wait to wear you again. And then over here, I have
my hanging stuff. Typically I don't put sweaters and knits and things on hangers, because they
get stretched and they lose their shape. So everything like that, I always fold. And I only
hang up the things that won't be misshapen, because of the hanger situation. And there is
logic here, in terms of the order, but I'm sure you don't see it. It's like logic that basically
only I can see, but it is there, trust me. And then I have my little hat and my hot water bottle in this
little corner, which I think is fine. And yeah, it's now time to put the box back up there with my
summer stuff. Now that my winter coat is out of there, this is going to be empty. But if the winter
coat comes back from the cleaners, I'm going to put it there, back there again. Because I don't,
I think it's going to be a couple months before I'm going to be able to wear it. So that is where
that stuff will go. Thank you so much for watching, and a big thank you to Ruby Cup for sponsoring
this video. I highly recommend checking them out. Link and discount code in the description box.
These have changed my life, no kidding. They have changed my periods, made them so much better and
easier to deal with. So yeah, check them out. Huge thank you also to my channel supporters who are
helping me to keep making these videos for everyone here on YouTube. I am going to have a little break,
have a cup of tea, cool down a little bit, and then continue on with my day. As always, questions,
comments, conversations down below. Have a wonderful day, and I will see you all again
really really soon. Bye bye. I am spent. And there's also some things in the wash right now
that I can't like do, and and it's messing with my brain.
But I just need to deal with those things when they come out of the wash.
