In this video we look at Charles Manson, one of the most infamous criminal figures of the 20th Century, certainly in the USA. Leader of a cult, known eerily as "The Family," Charles Manson used his intoxicating charisma and charm to seduce vulnerable souls into his mad delusions, eventually resulting in a murderous spree, so shocking, that it is seen by some as ending the euphoria and optimism felt by a generation in the late 1960s!

We will examine his upbringing, his experiences at the epicentre of the Hippie movement, his foray into music and finally leading a doomsday cult that resulted in the deaths of many innocents and his life behind bars.
