Charles (Chris O'Donnell) assists Frank (Al Pacino) as he’s trying to drive a Ferrari, despite being blind. It doesn’t take long for Frank to push the accelerator a little too much for fun.

Charlie Simms is a student at the Baird School, an exclusive New England preparatory school. In order to afford a plane ticket to visit his family for Christmas, Charlie takes a job consisting in watching Frank, a blind, retired military man. Shortly after Charlie arrives, Frank unexpectedly takes him on a trip to New York City, where the two enjoy the city’s most luxurious places. However, things take a turn for the worse when Frank reveals that he’s planning on killing himself at the end of the trip.
