The Ukrainian Defense Forces' strike on the Russian military airfield in Rostov-Tsentralny was highly effective. Recent satellite images of the facility confirm the destruction of four Russian military aircraft: two helicopters and two fixed-wing aircraft. This was reported by the authoritative GEOINT community "KiberBoroshno".Experts noted that the strike on the airfield was very powerful.

The 30th Separate Combined Transport Aviation Regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces is based at a military airfield near Rostov-on-Don. It supplies the southern occupation group of Russian troops in Ukraine. It was also reported that Rostov residents demanded an air raid alarm after the overnight drone attack: "Turn on those sirens." Afterwards, local public groups were flooded with angry messages. People complained that they learned of the attack only after the explosions began, when it was too late to run for cover. A video of a Rostov resident who demanded protection from the authorities became revealing.
