Spectacular Images of Berlin in 1945 with unique, previously unpublished footage in 4K resolution

This meticulously restored film footage contains sequences that are largely unknown. They show life in Berlin in 1945, a city that had been completely destroyed. We look closely into the faces of the people, witness how the streets are filling with life again, and see how people are defying the all-encompassing destruction. We see the Soviet occupiers and also the first Americans driving through the city in their army jeeps before the official arrival of the Americans. A group of men pull a tram and Russian soldiers celebrate the victory over Nazi Germany. Meanwhile, the surviving Berliners clear away the rubble.
