Today I tried to get Mama to count some straws — an activity meant to help stimulate her mind and keep her mentally engaged. But like many days with dementia… she wasn’t interested.

That’s just how it goes sometimes.

One day she’s sharp and engaged, and the next day, she’s not feeling it at all. And that’s okay. 💜
