President Trump announced Monday that Mesabi Metallics plans to build a massive $15 BILLION steel plant in Iowa, which the White House says will become the largest steel plant in U.S. history.

Once fully built, the plant is expected to produce up to 10 MILLION TONS of steel every year, using iron ore from the company’s new Minnesota mine.

POTUS emphasized that the entire process will remain domestic:

“This steel will be mined, melted and made right here in the USA.”

The project is expected to support 5,000-6,000 construction jobs and at least 1,750 permanent jobs in Iowa.
