International Coastal Cleanup Day | Jamaica Leg - WELL DONE Team Jamaica!

International Coastal Cleanup Day, Jamaica leg, from all indications, was a huge success. Thousands of volunteers came out on Saturday to participate in the event that is said to be the single largest one day volunteer event int the world!

According to the Jamaica Environment Trust via their website, one hundred and ninety (190) cleanup sites were registered across the island this year.

In Montego Bay, I was happy to participate at three (3) sites, the Freeport Mangrove area, the beach behind the meeting place - across from Fisherman's beach, and the Old hospital park beach. And yes, I have pics and clips for you!
