President Donald Trump announced on Monday that the U.S. has reached a $15 billion deal with Mesabi Metallics to build the ‘largest American steel plant of all-time”

“We’re going to win everything, we even have Lake Ontario,” Trump said. “I think a deal will be made, but it's going to be a fair deal.”
“Canada has been really very difficult to deal with, actually. And they've charged our farmers 100 per cent tariffs and more. They take advantage of us. They feel entitled," he added.
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick commented on the deal saying it signified “Steel tariffs at work… Without those tariffs this mine doesn’t get built, and this steel plant does not get built.”
“(Tariffs) one of the reasons I can offer — if the Republicans win the House and the Senate — $5,000 to every adult,” Trump said.
