Video Summary
AI GeneratedA solo traveler visits Paradise Water Sports in Ocean City, Maryland, for a jet skiing adventure. After a brief safety orientation and quiz, the narrator spends about an hour navigating the waters, reaching speeds up to 49 mph on a Sea-Doo. Despite being the only solo rider, they thoroughly enjoy the experience, praising the thrill and the scenery before returning to shore.
Welcome everyone to a new day in Ocean City, Maryland.
I'm on a solo adventure this morning at what looks like a crab house,
but is actually a place where I'm going to go jet skiing.
It's right around the corner over here and it's called Paradise Water Sports.
I actually did this for the first time last year,
but with a different organization. This time they're not able to do it.
So I did some hunting on Google and I found this place. Reviews look good.
It was sold out for early in the morning. I was like, that's a good sign too.
And I got the 1130 time and we're going out.
They also do boating stuff as well, but I'm here for the jet skiing.
You have to do a little quiz before you do this and they give you all of the
answers right here. So it's not too difficult to do. I passed my test,
got my bracelets and now we're just waiting for everybody to get back so we can
go out ourselves. There's my beast.
I think I'm literally the only person out here that's a solo.
There's two people on every one of these.
I feel so lonely.
Raise your hand if you rode a jet ski before. All right, some of you.
So we're going to go over how the jet ski works.
With your right pointer finger, pull that trigger. Everybody got it?
That's your throttle, that's your gas. That's how you go.
The harder you pull it, the faster you go.
A little bit of throttle goes a long way.
Takes a little bit of time to stop three to five seconds. Okay.
Hold it in until you stop. Once you stop, let go.
If you hold it in after you stop, that's also reverse. Everybody got that?
All right. Red button. Don't push it, but that's how you start it. Okay.
It takes three seconds to start. We'll tell you when we push you out,
hold the red button and you got to do that. Okay.
Slight collision there. Not my fault. There goes our guide.
And we're in the no wake zone right now. So that's why we're going super slow.
I do appreciate the wake that he gave me there. That was fun.
So basically if you can hear me, they take you all the way down here.
And then once you get into a good area,
they let you just do a free for all where you can go wherever you want.
And that's the best part because you can hit all kinds of good stuff like this.
I'm only going 17 miles an hour.
It definitely feels faster than that in my mind.
Oh my God. That was crazy.
It honestly felt like we were going to go on our side right there.
That was so cool. I know we probably weren't, but it felt like that.
There's some guys fishing over there. You can see them.
These beautiful houses do right up.
Here's the spot and they'll tell us what area we can
go into. We're drifting. Yep.
We got four white buoys out here. One there, one there, one there, and one there.
And that's your, your riding area. So we'll go out and we'll get it in.
Put this back in here. Start her up.
This way. And I'll swing this way. You can see there's ocean city,
Maryland. And we're going for the buoy.
Oh my 30. I'm scared.
Wow. So much fun. Right for staying right here.
Let's see what happens. This is full throttle. Oh my God.
That was 41 miles an hour.
Whoa. A little scary though.
This kind of reminds me of mountain coasters.
At first you get on and you're being kind of tepid pulling the brake.
And then after a while you kind of get used to it and you're like, okay,
this is awesome. And there's nothing to be afraid of,
even if you're going at full speed.
But here's my rig and all the operation here.
If you want to see you got side view mirrors.
This gives me a chance to kind of just do my own thing out here.
So you can see everything. There's people just singing.
We'll hit their thing here.
I'm going very slowly now. Cause I don't want to lose you.
I don't want you going to the bottom down there, but yeah, this is it.
You just kind of zoom around and enjoy yourself.
We've got probably like 30 to 40 minutes to do this and actually less it's 12
o'clock. Now we have until 1230 to be back when the next group comes.
Or somewhere near there, maybe longer. We'll see.
I just wanted to share this with you because I look forward to this as of last
year.
I was like,
I got to come back out and I got to ride jet skis again and I'm so glad to be
out here. This is so much fun. Oh, I shouldn't call this a jet ski.
It's a Sea-Doo actually what I'm on. Sea-Doo. All right.
I'm going to put you guys back on my chest strap here and I'm going to sing
around and I'll get you some footage here and there.
We're going to go down to this buoy here.
I'm going to sing all the way down to the other buoy.
Let's see how fast I can get there.
I just slammed my butt down so hard on that. It was awesome.
I'm going to do it again.
Caps out at 49. I could not get above that. That's as high as we could go.
I don't know if you could even see the speedometer on here,
but I'll show it to you here.
After I get out of this person's way a little bit. There you go.
So here you can see how much there are six bunch of people on this place.
We think that would make this experience better is if we were battling in some
way, like Mario Kart style,
where we're trying to like knock balloons off of each other or launch turtle
shells or something like that.
I think that would make it way more fun for we're trying to bump into each
other, but this is pretty good.
And I'm thankful that the sun is behind those clouds because I was cooking when
we were waiting to get out here. Right when I say that the sun comes out,
I take it back. Oh my God.
My spine, my spine.
I like coming over here just to look at all this stuff with Ocean City.
I think it'd be way better if I had a head strap on,
but they're just such a pain in the butt.
So we just have to look around like this for you.
So you're not just looking at this the whole time.
There you go. My first good splash.
I'm going to keep round us up and we have to go back and you'll see a sad
face up here on me.
You guys just got splashed pretty good and we're also getting called in now.
Our time is up, unfortunately. Here's that sad face.
But that was good out here.
Yeah.
Thank you so much.
That was actually really easy being the first person back.
Cause otherwise you kind of have to dilly dally out here waiting for everybody
and then you get all turned around and stuff.
Mouthy seagulls out here. Oh, that's a relief. Taking that off.
A little sweaty under there.
That officially concludes my seadoing jet skiing personal
watercraft experience 2026. If you're trying to do what I did today,
that was paradise water sports. They didn't pay me to make this video.
In fact, I paid them.
It was about $147 or so after taxes and fees to come out and do this.
And I would do it again for that same price. That was, that was a good time.
Speaking of time,
I think it's about time that we get back because I think a storm is going to be
coming in,
but I'm hoping it's just a passing thing cause we still have a whole lot of
ocean city day ahead of us here.
Hope you enjoyed coming along with me on this journey and I'll see you
next year, maybe sooner, who knows, for some more jet skiing action.
