Supreme Court backs Trump’s deportation of illegal immigrants

The Wall Street Journal Editor at Large Gerard Baker says the Supreme Court has handed US President Donald Trump a temporary win, allowing the administration to deport illegal migrants to third countries.
“This is just a temporary decision,” Mr Baker told News24 Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus.
“The court will take up the case. The case is essentially whether or not the administration can deport … illegal migrants to third countries. Particularly third countries where these migrants claim they may be at risk of being persecuted.
“The administration is going to be permitted to do that, pending the hearing of the case.”
