Hello everyone, let's create a beautiful resin piece together.
Silicone mold for a resin candle holder, large particle dark pink and gold glitter.
The resin to hardener ratio depends on the brand and type of resin.
The resin I'm using is mixed at a 2 to 1 ratio, 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener.
For example, if you use 30 grams of resin, add 15 grams of hardener.
Measure both components carefully, then mix them slowly and thoroughly
until you get a completely uniform mixture.
As shown in the video, mix the glitter thoroughly into the resin.
Mix the resin and hardener again, then divide the resin mixture
into four containers as shown in the video.
Add dark pink pigment powder to one container of the resin mixture.
Use less resin mixture for this color than for the other colors.
Pearl white powder pigment.
Gold powder pigment.
Use silicone spray to help remove the finished resin piece from the mold easily
and to extend the life of your mold.
Before using it, make sure the mold is thoroughly clean.
Shake the spray well, then apply it evenly to the mold.
As shown in the video, slowly pour the glitter and resin mixture
into the mold starting from the center.
Using a spatula, gently guide all the glitter from the surface into the mold.
Clean the surface as thoroughly as possible.
Then slowly pour a very small amount of clear resin into the center as shown in the video.
Pour the resins into the mold in the same order shown in the video.
My dear friends, if you want to achieve the desired result,
just like in the video, the order of the colors at this stage is very important.
For the final step, fill the mold to the edge with pearlescent white resin.
And that's it! The piece is complete.
Gently tapping the sides of the mold helps make sure the resin
has reached every part of the mold.
This technique is only used for deep molds like this one.
I hope you found this tutorial helpful and enjoyable.
