Hi friends, there are many similarities between a saint and a scientist.
What are the similarities?
Both of them need isolated places to know the truth.
What sort of truth do they give us?
They give us facts.
When saint gives us facts beyond the world,
a scientist gives us facts about the world where we live.
A scientist meditates upon matter, its components, its ratios, its properties, its existence
and proves everything practically and we call that subject science.
A saint always meditates upon the cause of these effects which are seen with our naked eyes
and we call that subject as philosophy.
That is why a saint is called ancient scientist whereas a scientist is called modern saint.
Great saints like Albert Einstein, Newton invented laws based on their deep observation
and focused on creation through their deep meditation.
They perceived the world with their external vision.
Great saints with their inward eye meditated upon the cause which is nothing but supreme being.
Saints always seek the creator of the entire creation through cause and effect theory.
Thus, if a scientist has scientific vision, a saint has spiritual vision.
That is why our philosophy is called metaphysics.
A saint may know which a scientist knows but scientist doesn't know what a saint knows.
In that way, both are different.
When a scientist talks about self, structure, an atom, universe or solar system and their structures,
a saint talks about the creator of all creation and perceives him as the controller of everything
beyond the world as omnipotent and controller of everything within each individual soul as antaryami.
A scientist may be able to prove the facts but a saint may not be able to prove the facts
because we need to have vision to know the truth, the facts beyond the world.
A scientist discovers something which is already existing.
He may invent something following the creation of the supreme being.
He may be able to tell the life of a person from birth to death but he doesn't know about rebirth.
But a saint knows about existence of soul between birth and rebirth besides what a scientist here knows.
In this way, a saint exhibits his supremacy over a scientist in many aspects.
