AI Image Prompts: How to Get the Picture You Pictured
AI image prompts — why what comes out never matches what you pictured, and how to close that gap. Anyone can type "a cat in a hat" into an image generator; the difference between an amateur result and a usable one is everything you didn't specify. This covers what to specify and how: the structure of a prompt that produces consistent output, controlling light, colour, composition and detail deliberately rather than hoping, how the main generators differ and which suits which job, and refining a result into something finished instead of rerolling until you get lucky. Built for designers, marketers and creators who need images they can actually use.

Beginner level — no design or technical background needed.
💰 On tool costs: Midjourney is subscription-only, DALL·E sits inside a paid ChatGPT plan, and Stable Diffusion is free if you run it yourself but needs capable hardware. There are free generators good enough to learn the technique on — check current pricing before committing to any one tool.
⚠️ Before using AI images commercially: every generator licenses its output differently, and the terms change. What you can do with an image from a free tier and a paid tier are often not the same thing. Check the current terms of whichever tool produced your image before putting it in a client project or anything you sell.
