Children living among rats, trash, human waste, deputies say

Two 22-year-old parents, Brandon Hyatt and Kaylee Monroe, were arrested in DeLand after deputies discovered their two young children living in horrific conditions. Following a 911 call, authorities found the home infested with rats and flies, filled with trash, urine, and feces. The children have since been placed in the care of a relative.
