The smallest Tic Tac Toe Ever

Hello everyone and welcome to my channel. Today I am going to make a tic-tac-toe game in 1 to 12 and for that I am using the four colors of brown you saw in the start. You can use whatever kind of color you want and you can use any other colors of brown than I used. I like to use at least three or four colors when I am making marbling like I am here. I'm placing them together and rolling them into a snake. Then I'm twisting it and squeezing it together and rolling it into a tiny ball to roll it out again and twist it one more time. Don't do this too many times because you might end up with a unicolored color and you don't really want that. You want that marbling effect. Then I am rolling it through my pasta machine on a setting six and I'm actually folding this and going down to a setting four. Actually it's going up because four is thicker and then I am going to take this little cookie cutter that I have that is around 1.2 x 1.2 centimeters. You can of course just measure it out and cut it. So this is the game board and now I am going to divide it up in the squares we need for the game and I'm using the back side of my blade here to make those indents and it can be really really hard to make them straight and to make them so that it looks right but you want nine different squares here on this little board before you can go on. Then I put my pasta machine on a setting six that is thinner than the board itself and I rolled out the rest clay to make enough clay for me to make the game pieces that you need for this game. I have some really small circle cutters here and I used a bigger one to cut out a circle and then a smaller one to cut out the inside of that circle to make my... I think it's an O for the game and for the X I am using the same circle cutter as I started with to make the O and then I am going to make the X out of that circle. So these pieces are really really tiny. You only need one of each that is good enough then you can make a mold of them when you have baked it and then you can use that to make enough pieces for the game. I kind of didn't like my game board here so I cut out a thin stripe of my clay and I wrapped that around the edge of my board. It was a little tricky. You don't need to put that little edge on there because I ended up not liking it but maybe you like it maybe you don't maybe you want the board without this little edge here. Then you do that. That's all up to you. I'm just coming here with an idea and then I hope you will build on it and make your own version. So when I'm happy with this I am going to bake it. After baking I let it all cool down and then I am going to mix my mold putty together. This is just a normal mold putty. It's a one-to-one base and you just mold it together and squeeze it over the thing you want to make a mold of. I'm doing this of an X and of an O and of my game board so I can do as many of these games that I want to. Now you just make the marbled mix of whatever you want to or maybe a uniform color stuff it into the mold. Make three of these small X's, three small O's and then you have a game on a game board. When the mold is all ready you just stuff your clay into the mold. Cut off the excess carefully so you don't destroy the mold and then you just scoop it out. You have one more and you can bake these pieces. Make another mold where you have three of each of them so you just need to do this one time and that's it for this game. I kind of didn't like that model I made there. Maybe you like it then go ahead and do it like that because it's a way to do it. I wanted my board to be a little more square and a little more right. I went to my computer, turned on Fusion 360 and I designed the board and the small game pieces and then I made it for an easy print with that background I made so that it is easy to make a mold of it all. So I'm just going to make a mold of my 3D printed plate here. That's actually the first time I think I made something in 3D print and made a mold of it to use with my polymer clay. Here I have a mold that I like better than the other one and now I can just do what I did with the first mold. Fill it up with my mixed clay and then make the pieces that I want here. I am going to make the pieces for the game itself in one colored clay just to make it a little more fun. Then I made my marbled brown clay here and I am stuffing that into my mold. Actually I'm cutting it open to get a little more color swirlies in there and then I'm just stuffing it into my mold and cutting off the top of the surface just like I did before. All the excess clay needs to go. This way I have a flat board to be playing tic-tac-toe on. Then I just have to pop it out of the mold and I decided to make the lines white here on the game because I made the lines here pop up instead of going down into the clay. You can actually do that with rolling a really really thin snake of clay and placing that on top of your board instead of making that indent that I did. Here you have two different versions of this little game. I actually had a lot of fun figuring this one out. This was an idea I got in a dream, believe it or not. I just had to try it out so here it is. I hope you like this little game. Maybe you got some ideas for it. Maybe you want to make it different. I gave you the idea.
