N.B. education officials grilled on poor assessment scores

New Brunswick is facing significant challenges in meeting literacy targets, as highlighted by the Auditor General. In response, the province has introduced a new 12-year plan with more attainable goals and a shift toward school-specific improvement targets. Additionally, a pilot program reducing classroom days is being tested to provide teachers with more preparation time.
