Finale shares a glimpse into her life in Austin as she balances her photography business and content creation with the final stages of wedding planning. The vlog covers her dress fittings, health and wellness routines, professional milestones, and the emotional and financial reflections that come with preparing for her big day.
Hey y'all, what's up?
My name is Finale.
Welcome to a new vlog.
It is a very, very rainy weekend here in Austin.
I truly couldn't even tell you
the last time it rained like this.
And it's ACL weekend one,
which thank God I'm not going
because I would be honestly miserable.
Like I admire the people that are like,
yeah, let's go in our rain boots and ponchos.
I mean, what can you do after you've like purchased tickets?
But yeah, it doesn't seem very fun to like leave the house.
Even though today is a very exciting day
because I'm leaving the house to get my wedding dress.
You guys, it's finally here.
The day has come.
I'm picking up my wedding dress
or I'm getting final like measurements.
I don't really know
if I've lost weight since the last time.
So if we need to do, you know, final adjustments,
we can do it today
or I'll be coming home with the wedding dress.
So we'll see.
Either one works for me.
We have a month till the wedding, you guys.
One month.
Actually, it's like a month and a couple of days.
But honestly, at this point, I'm trying to tell myself
I have less days than I do
because we are leaving so much earlier
than the actual wedding itself.
So I feel like I need to tell myself
I have just like 15 days to get everything
and anything you can done and ready to go.
And like, I don't know, is it crazy
to just start packing bags right now?
Like, I just feel like there's so many little things
that I don't want to forget.
This year I've been having a lot going on.
Obviously I am wedding planning,
but I also run my own photography business.
I also am a content creator
and I've just been very, very overwhelmed lately,
not gonna lie.
And I want to be posting so much content.
Like I have so many ideas running through my mind
all the time, but there's just not enough hours in the day
to like edit and like film.
And I really, really want to be posting on YouTube more.
It's always in the back of my mind,
but I do feel like it has to be this like amazing,
aesthetic vlog that I'm like always leaving the house for.
But I'm just like, wait,
why can't it just be like an at-home chatty vlog?
Like I'm a yapper.
I can chat whenever.
And I feel like this might be that,
especially with this rain this weekend.
I do want to stay home as much as possible.
I will say I did get invited weekend two with a brand,
which was going to be amazing and really cool.
But also I'm just like at that point in wedding planning
where I don't want to leave my house
because I just have so many things to do
and I'm so overwhelmed.
But also I'm just like,
maybe I should save my energy for the wedding.
Funny enough,
I forgot that I just got invited to an event tonight,
which is crazy.
Cause like,
I'm always saying that brands are just really last minute.
I mean, I'm probably on like the C-list
and there were a couple more spots
cause people are pulling out.
Maybe they're going to ACL and then they could invite me.
I'm joking, but like, I'm also really not joking.
Like that's probably how it works.
But honestly, I'm not mad.
I'm really excited to go.
It's with Bondi Boost,
which I love their hair tools so much.
And I'm pretty sure it's a gifting suite.
I actually accidentally broke the one hair tool
who I loved from them.
I'm really, really hoping that they have it there.
This week I was killing myself in the gym
because I really wanted to feel amazing
in my wedding dress today.
Because the last time I tried it on,
like I didn't love what I looked like.
Especially my upper body.
It was just a little,
I don't even know.
So today I'm feeling a lot better about myself.
I've been really, really killing it in the gym.
Taking my creatine,
drinking my electrolytes.
I've been really trying to eat more protein.
I think that's the hardest part for me,
especially because I'm on a GLP-1.
I have to be prioritizing that,
but it is really, really hard.
You really have to think about it.
Recently I have been habit stacking
because I am doing creatine and electrolytes
in the same drink.
And I do have it in a Red Solo cup
because I'm about to leave.
I'm going to pick up my friend Kiana.
She's going to come with me.
I literally just asked her today.
I was like, hey, you busy at work?
Like, what's your schedule like?
Do you want to come?
Because she's actually one of my bridesmaids.
And it'd just be nice to have someone
to physically see how to bustle the dress.
Because I think she's going to teach us
how to do that today.
I was planning on having my mom do it,
but you know, like I can send her a video
and should be fine.
But it would be nice to have Kiana like, you know,
as a backup if need be.
I've literally gone to every single one
of these appointments
with my custom wedding dress designer alone.
So I'm really excited that Kiana can join this time.
I just got these Amazon earrings.
Are they fine?
Should I just get something bigger?
Maybe they need to be bigger.
No.
Really?
Or just like a little.
No, no?
Okay.
Also, I think it would look too cheap.
Okay.
And I hate it when girls wear too much jewelry.
Okay.
On their wedding day.
Sorry, this is the most firing thing I've ever worn.
I can't even imagine you in a big ball gown.
I know.
It wouldn't, it would not hit the same.
But your body looks incredible.
Thank you.
Okay, well, I need to see myself on the side
because that's what we were having issues with.
I also need to see if we like the side part.
I know.
Okay, let's see.
I like it.
You like the side?
Mm-hmm.
I think it's just like different for me.
I was pretty successful.
I didn't bring it home
because they still needed to like attach the zipper
and do some last minute adjustments.
But I'm glad Kiana was able to see it
because she was like the first person
that I know that has seen it like in person.
I've showed my friends on pictures
because I really don't care to hide it.
Honestly, if it were up to me,
Ryan would have been right there with me
choosing my wedding dress
because he is honestly such a good stylist.
Like he just knows what looks good on my body.
I don't know.
I just really appreciate his styling tips.
Okay, but unfortunately that couldn't happen.
I honestly forgot that I was keeping it a secret from him
until now.
But for the first couple of months
when I knew what my wedding dress looked like,
I like was dying to share it with him.
But you know, I've come this far.
Obviously I'm going to hide it as long as I can.
Just doing a little lip touch up
with the Huda Beauty Soft Matte Lip Mousse.
I love this formula so much.
I wish there was like an in-between neutral pinky shade
because this is a pink color.
And then I have this lighter pink,
but it's like really, really like Barbie pink.
And it almost looks like gray toned on me.
But this is kind of like a little more pinkier
than I would like.
I got home and I immediately felt like so freaking tired
that I took a nap.
Naps make me feel so freaking guilty,
especially because I'm self-employed and it was a weekday.
But you know, sometimes you just gotta let your body
do its thing.
And I also forget a lot of the time that I wake up
at like 5.45, pretty much every single weekday,
especially when I'm working out, obviously.
And I gotta give myself a little grace
because most self-employed people would not choose that life.
Kiana is my gym buddy and that's like what time she can go.
I honestly love getting home when I get home though,
because it's like around 8.20
and I just feel like I have the whole day ahead of me.
I have so much energy when I go to the gym in the morning.
So I like to get like the hard stuff done in the mornings.
If I need to clean the house, like do a lot of computer work,
I am like ready to go in the mornings.
But that mid-afternoon slump hits me so hard.
And I love to be in bed by like 9, 9.30.
Maybe I'm not like sleeping by then,
but that is like, you know, ideal bedtime.
I randomly just put on this top that I had.
I got it in December and then I have these white
Arakami jeans on.
Then my go-to black Amazon heels.
I have these in two different heights.
I obviously love the lower one more.
I got the lower one, you know, after I got the original one.
I will link these below because they are super affordable
and I wear them all the time.
I've shown this before, but this is also from Amazon
and it's an Hermes lookalike, I believe.
And it's so pretty and chic looking.
I don't know if it really matches the outfit,
but I really don't care.
I'm gonna be at this gifting suite for like maybe an hour,
maybe an hour and a half.
It's probably gonna be dark.
It's at Everly though.
Everly is gorgeous.
And it actually has really good food.
I saw that they had light bites.
So I'm really, really hoping that they have
some yummy, yummy apps.
I think there's probably ACL traffic
and that's like the direction of ACL.
So this might not be a fun drive, but let's go.
The period cramps were hitting
just as I was on the way over here.
Perfect timing, body.
Love that for me, but I think they're subsiding.
I literally just took an Advil,
but I am in the valet and about to go in
to the gifting suite.
Hopefully I see someone I know like immediately
cause I'm just, oh, I'm tired.
I'm not like in the most social mood.
So hopefully it's good.
I need more drinks in the city.
I need it.
Oh my, I'm so falling right now.
I'm falling for fall.
Like she's so fall and I'm like so not in the mood for it.
I feel like I can't fully accept that it's fall right now,
but it is clear.
We're in like wedding era
and then once it's wedding era,
it'll be like, it'll be the holidays.
It'll be like, you don't want to be me.
So I'm like skipping fall this year, I guess.
Swatching some lip products.
This one's a pretty color.
This is what we just swatched.
Really love this color.
It's gorgeous.
We're at Kindy, which is like the best Thai food in Austin.
I'm so excited.
Best dish, the pad see ew.
And then he got the, what's this, the street?
Street fried rice with shrimp.
Thai tea, of course.
And the roti.
Good morning, happy Saturday.
It's another very dreary, gloomy, rainy day,
which honestly I'm fine with
because we booked a movie for tonight.
We're going to see Verity and I'm so excited.
You guys probably know I don't really read
and so I didn't read the book,
but I've heard so many good things about it.
And obviously Anne Hathaway's in it,
Dakota Johnson's in it.
So I originally booked it for me and Ryan
and then I told Kiana that we were going
and her husband's going out of town.
So she was like, can I come?
I was like, yep, let's do it.
Let's do a little third wheeling date.
So I'm excited for tonight.
But other than that, like,
I just want to get some DIYs done for the wedding today.
I just want to finish them already, my God.
I accidentally slept in the earrings
that I got for the wedding.
I just like put them on yesterday
so that I could see what they would look like
with the wedding dress,
but I'm just switching them out,
putting them back in the box so that they're safe.
The hair didn't stand a chance in yesterday's weather,
but that's okay.
I didn't really expect it to last.
After the event, we went to Kendi,
which is honestly like number one Thai restaurant
right now in my mind here in Austin.
I think a lot of people will tell you that.
Usually growing up, my dad would order like green curry
and pad thai, but I never tried pad see ew
until maybe like this past year and I am obsessed.
And their pad see ew is so good.
So I was very happy to get that last night.
We got it takeout one night
and I just like didn't love it as much.
It just like, wasn't that like, wow, this is so good.
Cause it's not like, you know, fresh and hot.
So I definitely would recommend eating there,
especially for your first time.
Our weekend tradition is always trying new coffee shops.
And that is so easy here in Austin
because I feel like every week
there are like two new coffee shops to try.
So today we're going to this magazine store downtown
that has a coffee shop in it.
I've been wanting to go here for so long.
We always pass by it on our way downtown.
It's like that blue building
and I've heard the matcha is really good.
Recently, I've added a new camera to my collection.
Actually, I've technically added two cameras
to my collection within the past month.
My film camera.
I don't know if I talked to you guys about this,
but anyways, I got like a professional film camera
for my photography work.
I just got those film scans back
after like a couple of test rolls with it, not loving it,
kind of questioning everything that I just purchased.
But this last roll was actually everything.
Of course it was the Portra 400 film stock,
which is way more expensive than like Kodak 200 gold.
Everyone had been telling me, no,
Portra 400 is like that bright and airy vibe you want.
It's definitely more of your editing style
and there's a reason why everyone usually gets it
and they were so right, unfortunately.
I was trying to do it cheap
because I'm not charging my clients for film yet
just because obviously I'm new, I'm a beginner.
So I was taking on that cost,
but right now I have just been offering
already scheduled sessions, film rolls at cost.
Then I could build up my film portfolio,
but it's been really exciting.
Film is just like a whole different world.
If you guys are interested in me talking more about film,
I would be happy to,
because I'm just like getting into so many different
like hobbies and new skill sets, like all at once.
I feel like a little overwhelmed.
Like, why am I doing this to myself?
But I kind of love it
because I've also been getting into embroidery.
And I think I told you guys
that I've just been having so many major crash shots
about it, but like, that's just what it is.
That's learning a new skill.
You're not gonna know everything in one day.
We're back to this little camera.
This looks like the DJI camera and I have that one,
but this is the Luna Insta Pro.
I'm gonna actually have the name right here
because I forgot what the full name is.
But what's cool about this camera
is that you can pop off the screen
and like film yourself and see yourself.
If you like put it down, like all the way over there,
you could still see yourself.
And this thing has a mic on it.
So like, you know, audio is gonna be amazing.
So I kind of wanna play with it this morning.
There were a couple of clips last night that I took,
but I don't think the settings were amazing.
And I kind of want to try to film on D-log
with this camera, which means basically
it's very, very muted when it comes out of the camera,
the colors are, and then you go in
and color grade it on your end,
which obviously that means more work for you,
but it just can look really, really good.
And obviously the DJI does have that,
but I don't know, I just have never gotten color as good.
And I've already tested them side by side,
and I can tell that the color is a tiny bit better
on this camera, which is amazing.
And then also this camera can film in 4K vertically,
which I don't think the DJI does.
I will say it's only 30 frames per second
and not 60 frames per second,
which is usually what I shoot in,
but that is a really cool upgrade.
And it has like 2X zoom, 4X zoom,
and the zoom's like really good on this camera.
I do kind of want to do like a whole separate video
of me just vlogging with this camera,
maybe comparing it to the iPhone or the DJI or both.
If you're interested in that, let me know,
but if you don't want to wait
and you're just curious about this camera,
I will leave the link in the description box.
Do you wish you were at ACL this weekend?
Not this weekend, really.
Sophie wishes she was there.
She has little mug boots she used to wear.
She's been dying to wear them
and never even wore them yet.
Sophie's a city girl.
Oh, this is like a little camera.
It's the Luna Insta Pro,
but it's like a, it's stabilized.
So all the footage is like super smooth and everything.
This is so funny.
It's literally what it looks like
when I embroider something
because the thread is just everywhere.
I got a mango sticky rice matcha.
Couldn't get the oat milk
because apparently like the milk base is their horchata,
like already pre-made thing,
and it's with whole milk, so just too great for me
because I'm lactose intolerant.
What?
The matcha isn't my favorite, to be honest.
I don't know.
Something about it.
I do think that the oat milk
would have made it a little bit creamier.
Like the matcha's good.
Matcha itself is good.
But like, yeah, maybe I just didn't order the right thing.
So I'd be down to try it again.
In the coffee shop, somebody stopped me
and she was like,
what is that little thing that you're recording on?
And so I like literally gave her like full-on sales pitch.
It was so funny.
But I felt like I couldn't give her my full review
since it's like brand new
and I still need to play around with it.
But I wanted to check on like the 1X, 2X.
So this is 1X,
and then that is 2X.
Here's 4X.
I'm scared.
I mean, that's pretty crazy for 4X.
And then you go back to 1X.
That this movie was a bad movie,
but then so many people said it was like the best movie.
Happy Sunday.
I woke up kind of in a panic because,
oh gosh, you guys,
there's just so many little tiny things
that I need to get done.
And I just feel like there's not enough hours in the day.
And I'm also just feeling like not the cutest this weekend
because I haven't really been wearing makeup.
But I did want to show you guys my simple skincare routine
that I'm kind of sticking to
since the wedding's coming up.
I don't want to do anything too crazy
and regret using a product that is new.
Obviously like for my content creator job,
I do get sent a good amount of products weekly,
to be honest.
But I have been trying to just like stick to,
you know, a very simple skincare routine.
So I want to show you guys what I've been using.
This is not an ad.
I've never been paid to work with them,
but I did go to a content creator event
like maybe a month ago now.
And I had been using this product before I went there.
And then they were talking about
how amazing this product is.
And I was like, ooh, I'm going to give that a shot.
And this has been the game changer.
So the brand is The Inkey List.
And the best part about this brand
is that it's pretty affordable, which is amazing
because sometimes when you see a serum,
that's like $140, you're like, what in the world?
So the price is definitely right for these products.
This one is a water cream.
And I know this is probably not the most hygienic
to put it on like this, but this is just how I do it.
And I just get a good layer on my face.
I have very dry skin, so I need lots of moisture.
Also last week, I think it was last week,
I got microneedling done for the first time.
And honestly, for the next like five to seven days,
I was just like, oh, like my skin looks crazy.
Towards the end, it didn't really look crazy,
but it felt like dry and just like weird texture.
But now I feel like it looks so much more even,
especially on my cheeks.
I feel like you could really see
where my tan was just like coming off,
but it's a lot more even now.
So that was like beauty appointment number one
of wedding prep, which was exciting.
Oh, I also got like Botox.
So let me run you guys through exactly
what I had done for my bachelorette.
And it's the same thing that I did for my wedding.
We did it exactly like six weeks out
because we want it to be settled
and like a little bit past peak,
especially for my brow Botox,
because I wanna be able to show emotion,
but I also love the look of a really smooth forehead.
So we do minimal forehead Botox,
and then we do the 11s,
and then she gives me like a little brow lift up here.
And for the most slept on Botox,
I got a Nefertiti neck lift.
So it just kind of makes that jaw pop out.
I forget why it's different than master Botox, but it is.
So maybe just do some research about that
if you're like curious,
but it really just makes my jawline so much more defined.
And I did it for my bachelorette and I looked snatched.
I was like, yeah, we're gonna have to get that back
for the wedding portraits.
The next product I use is the Exosome Hydro Glow Complex.
Like I said, this is magic in a bottle.
Just looks like this yellow gel.
Just put it everywhere on my face.
And I wake up with baby soft skin.
Like I just feel like my skin's very even.
I don't even know what it really does,
but it really looks beautiful.
Transformative serum for radiant, smooth, and renewed skin.
Yeah, that's like literally what I feel like it does
in the mornings to me.
So I've been using this mornings, night.
So if you have to try one new product,
definitely try this out.
Let me know how it works for you,
because I'm just like,
is it working like this for everyone?
If it is, like more people need to know about this.
I also got the new and improved Babe Lash Formula.
Actually, I don't think it's called Babe Lash anymore.
Babe Original.
I'm wondering why they changed their name.
Maybe because it's not all just lash serums,
but I'm going to start using this.
I have been using Suede Beauty's Lash Serum
for like the past year and a half, I would say.
And I feel like my lashes have been popping off lately.
I do get Korean lash lips.
I feel like I've talked about that many times.
And they have been the biggest game changer
because they last so long.
Like a normal lash lift for me
does not last as long as a Korean lash lift.
And it just looks so good.
It stands up so straight.
I mean, look at my lashes.
I didn't curl them or anything.
I could probably brush through them a little bit.
But at the event I went to,
they were recommending to use this lash serum
because well, obviously it was their brand.
So obviously they were going to recommend it,
but they were saying that this one
is going to give you like more of that thickness.
And I was like, that is what I need.
Because I feel like my lashes are honestly
like a little smidge too long.
Right when I get my lash lift,
it like curls into my eyelids when I like open my eyes.
And that's like not a cute look,
especially when you have mascara on
and then it like gets all over your like eyelids.
So I don't need really much length,
but I do want it to be a lot more full.
And then I'm just going to like add this into my routine.
This is the brow serum.
Cause like there's a little area over here in my brow
that has never been able to grow back.
That is my simple skincare routine.
I've been doing this for like the past month,
keeping it clean, keeping it simple.
I will say I am on my period right now.
And it is, oh my gosh.
It is the second to last period before I get married.
Crazy.
I feel like I'm doing that with everything.
Like it's our last time before we get married.
But I literally scheduled my wedding
to be on a day that I didn't have my period.
Is that crazy to me?
I'm very, very lucky that I like take a birth control pill.
So I'm very like regulated
and I know exactly when my period is coming and going.
And so I am going to be in the best phase of my cycle
when I get married, which I'm very, very blessed.
I can't remember what the phase is called,
but it's the one where you feel the best
right after your period.
And hopefully the week before,
sometimes I do like break out a little bit
and then I get really impatient and try to pick at it.
And then I will have scars.
So let's just hope I don't break out before the wedding.
We're a month out from me leaving for our wedding.
I think actually less than that, which is kind of terrifying.
But I don't have a third look for my wedding day,
which sounds very unnecessary,
but like my second look I bought in January,
no, in December in India.
And I just recently got it and it's so heavy.
Yes, I was expecting that,
but also like actually putting it on.
I'm like, oh, I don't even know if I can move in this thing.
So I want to have like a backup just to be able to like,
you know, be more comfortable.
So I have two dresses from ASOS
that I thought we could try on together.
This one's kind of fun.
It's a tiered dress and it's like a halter neck,
which I love a halter on me,
but I didn't realize that this material
would be a little bit more casual.
Like it's a linen material.
I didn't really expect that.
Kind of thought it was going to be like a silky satin vibe,
but I'm going to try it on either way.
Also, my dad has been planning so many other events
outside of even just the welcome party.
So now I feel like I have to have outfits for all of those.
So even if it doesn't work for my third look,
I can maybe think about it being, you know, another night.
This is so cool, but again, it's kind of heavy.
But look at all these beaded details.
I feel like this will be a really fun option.
So let's try them on.
The straps are adjustable in the back,
which I feel like I will need Brian's help to adjust those
because this is like kind of like hanging down
a little lower than it needs to.
But this is the first dress and these are all the details.
It has like little pearl embellishments.
That's what I love about ASOS.
I feel like they have so many beautiful,
like sequins, embellished, really cool,
like embroidered dresses
that aren't like that crazy expensive.
Like definitely like $150 ish,
but like for something that's like actually high quality
these days, like people want $300 for like a shitty dress.
So I still think ASOS is a really good price point.
I don't even know how to say it.
I feel like I'm saying it two different ways,
but I will say this dress is a little bit long on me.
I think I feel like it's reaching the kneecaps
and I don't want that.
How fun is this dress?
What do we think?
I kind of feel like maybe it's not a good third look
for like the wedding day because yes, there's a lot going on
but I also still feel like it's not enough for some reason.
And it's getting like beachy,
which obviously we're having like a beach wedding.
So it does fit.
I don't know.
I feel like it's just not enough for my third look.
Like I said, there are gonna be other events.
So I feel like this could actually be perfect.
We're gonna go to Ilios and Cabo one night
and then meet at like a rooftop for drinks and food.
So I feel like this is kind of perfect for that.
So I think I'm gonna hold on to this one actually
and return the other one.
You guys, I kind of debated showing you this
because I feel kind of pulled to make this my third look.
But just you wait.
I have something that I splurged on Etsy
to hope to wear for something bridal.
You guys are gonna freak because I freaked when I saw it.
Look at this insane, like cape situation.
I feel like it would be perfect over this.
I didn't actually realize there was like a pattern on this
when I bought it.
I thought it was just like plain,
but I do feel like it's the material that I was wanting.
So, all right, moment of truth.
Hopefully this works.
Wait, you guys, what do you think?
It's kind of perfect and it's so fun.
Like I wanted like a fun third look.
This is simple, but like this,
this is like the drama that I wanted.
Perfect, okay, can we cross it off my list?
Should I do an updo for this look?
Let's see, like a fun little bun moment.
Okay, that could be a vibe,
but I am doing like a bun or like a top messy,
whatever, not for the welcome party.
So I don't know if it's gonna be too similar,
maybe like, I don't know, not really doing a great job.
Also like doing an updo with straight hair
just doesn't look the same as doing it with curled hair.
Obviously I'm gonna link everything, especially this cape.
If you're interested, it actually does come longer.
It was just like way more expensive
and there's shorter ones, which are cheaper,
but I thought this would be a good length
so that it still shows my legs off in the back.
And I believe this is the ivory color.
There's a white color if you are interested in that,
but I feel like just like white in general,
like pure stark white doesn't look the best
for my skin tone, but I'm loving this.
Being a content creator, especially around this time
is so hard because I wanna share everything,
but then I also want things to be a surprise, you know?
So I feel like you guys will get a little sneak peek
and everyone on TikTok and Instagram
won't see this until the wedding, but I think we found it.
Yay, and it's very comfortable.
The set is actually a two-piece set.
So this is a full corset.
Let me show you the back.
So that's what it looks like in the back.
And then this skirt, I feel like it's really nice.
I could literally re-wear both of these,
honestly, after the wedding.
They're both from Anthropologie.
Also, these are ostrich feathers.
That's probably why it's so pricey.
And I've gotten Instagram ads for something similar to this,
but something was a little bit off.
Like, do you see how it's so full?
I don't really know how to describe it,
but basically it was just like one layer of this,
but I can tell that they did like multiple
and it just looks really, really full.
So, yay, okay.
This was productive.
Oh, I also have one last package.
What?
You're freaking joking.
No, you're actually joking.
They sent the wrong shoes twice in a row.
I'm gonna be so mad.
You're freaking kidding me.
Like, what in the world?
I literally checked my order like twice
and both of them say ivory, but they're black.
Amazing.
Like, how do you get that wrong?
I think I'm just gonna return them, honestly.
I did try on the black heels originally
for my wedding dress appointment
because I wanted them in time
for my wedding dress appointment.
And at least I had like the height that they would be,
but I couldn't get the full vision
because they were black
and they literally looked like grandma shoes
in the black color.
And I was just hoping that they wouldn't look like that
in the white color, but I won't know, I guess.
Anyways, they were honestly a little bit uncomfortable
because I got my exact size.
And I forgot that usually in boots and heels,
I do like to go up a half size.
So, I will probably get an 8.5
in whatever shoe I do choose.
Honestly, I'm over these ******* shoes, you guys.
Like, how do you send me the wrong color twice?
That is ******* annoying.
Anyways, I actually did like
a pre-courthouse wedding shoot this past weekend
and the girls' shoes were from Dolce Vita
and they were perfect.
Like, I think I'll probably just get those.
So, you know what?
Betsy Johnson.
So, I guess that is it of this wedding haul.
I feel like I'm buying so many random things on Amazon too,
just like little things here and there.
I'm doing some last minute crafts
as you guys saw this weekend.
I'm free from the shackles of my embroidery machine.
Technically, technically not though,
because I do have like a few more DIYs that I want to do,
but those server napkins were like top priority.
And I do want to put our logo,
I got digitized on the bottom of those,
but I kind of want to just like get through all the rest.
And if I have time and if I have energy,
I will add the logo to those server napkins.
But right now I feel like I just need to like
go on to the next DIY.
I did make tattoos for the after party,
which I don't know, Ryan and I were both like,
I mean, we wouldn't personally put tattoos on her body,
but it could be like a fun moment.
It could be a fun activity,
especially when people are drunk,
like I think they would like have fun with it.
So, I made one that said, I made it to the afters
and I survived the afters and they're all in red.
So, I cut them all out last night.
I could have used my Cricut,
which would have probably saved me a lot of time,
but I wasn't really doing anything better.
So, I was just like, you know, being at peace,
cutting my little tattoos out.
And I printed them myself.
Like it was actually so easy to make tattoos at home.
The other DIY I want to do with my embroidery machine
is make aprons for the bartenders to wear.
And I think that will be really cute,
but I just know that logo is going to take
literally like more than an hour to embroider.
And that just makes me anxious for an hour
because I'm like checking in on the embroidery machine
every 15 minutes.
You know, I'm just like trying to listen for it
because I like don't want to be in the same room.
It's so dang loud,
but I also don't want to be too far away
and like miss that it stopped, you know,
and then like waste time like that.
So, I'm trying to like set timers
and be really on top of like checking it
because sometimes the bobbin thread's empty.
Sometimes it just like goes without stitching
and then it like fucks everything up.
This embroidery machine has just been
like an emotional rollercoaster truly
because like one day I feel so at peace.
And then the next day something happens
where I don't know how to troubleshoot it.
There's another DIY that I am going to be
making my bridesmaids
and I don't really want to talk about it just yet.
Maybe I'll show it in the vlogs
like when it's actually being made,
but I did book another class with my embroidery teacher.
Not sure if I mentioned on this vlog,
but if you follow me on TikTok and Instagram,
you saw that I booked a one-on-one
with an embroidery teacher here in Austin.
She's amazing.
She's so helpful.
She literally troubleshooted everything.
She told me two things on my machine needed to be replaced.
It was amazing and it really put me at peace for that day.
And then it just like started ******* up again,
but I fixed it.
Anyways, basically I already booked another appointment
to learn how to sew.
So that's your hint of what I'm gonna make my bridesmaids.
But I bought the fabric
and I hope it comes in time for that class.
Because I don't know, it's a little too close,
but we'll see.
Sorry, I just rambled for so damn long,
but I'm gonna close out the vlog here.
If you guys are not already following me
on Instagram and TikTok, go ahead and do so
because I'm posting a lot more on there,
especially when wedding week comes around.
Girls, I have a content plan ready to go.
I have like the best media team.
So I'm so excited.
I think we're gonna pay for the same day edit,
which is like so much money.
And at first I was like, it's so stupid.
Like I can't do it, but I've been seeing so many TikToks
being like, it's so worth it, all this stuff.
And it would just be like nice to have,
obviously as a content creator
so I can post it the next day.
Dad was for it from the start.
He's all about the moment.
He keeps telling me money comes and goes,
like just care about the moment.
You're never gonna have this moment again,
which is like really, really not so great financial,
you know, advice, but I do kind of agree with him.
Like, I'm so grateful that our timeline
worked out the way it did.
I feel like a lot of people are like, wow,
you guys were together for 13 years and you're not engaged,
or I guess 12 when it happened.
Anyways, I'm so glad that we bought our house
before we got married because I would feel so guilty
for having the wedding that we're having
without buying a house because this wedding
could easily be a down payment on a house.
And it's just like kind of crazy to think about it,
but like I'm not really trying not to think about it too hard
because unfortunately I have always been
that girl that has always dreamed of a big wedding
and just like a really extravagant wedding.
So here we are doing a big,
keep catching myself crying every single day,
like they're happy tears.
But yesterday our officiant sent over like his script.
It wasn't even sappy at all.
He left out the sappy part that he's gonna talk about
like me and Ryan, because he's known Ryan for so long,
but he's known me since maybe high school.
He like left that out and I was already like crying.
I was already in tears.
And then this morning Ryan was like reading me
his like welcome speeches and all of that.
And I was crying and it was the most basic thing.
And I was like, I don't know why I keep crying.
It's just like more of like thinking about the day of
and putting myself in that moment.
It just made me tear up and I just can't stop crying.
And I'm honestly getting annoyed at myself
because I'm just like, holy ----,
am I gonna be crying for literally
my whole wedding weekend?
I would love to not because you know,
there's gonna be so many photo moments
and I don't want them to all be crying.
So hopefully I'll just get all my tears out right now.
But anyways, my God, I cannot stop rambling
because I just drank an Elaninu.
But I will see you guys in my next video.
Bye.
