Russia has issued a major nuclear warning over Kaliningrad, threatening strikes against NATO decision-making centers and warning that any attempt to isolate the Russian exclave could escalate to nuclear weapons.

The warning comes as tensions rise around the Baltic region, with reports of increased Russian airspace violations and growing concern over the security of NATO’s eastern flank.
At the center of the confrontation is the Suwałki Gap, the narrow land corridor connecting the Baltic states to the rest of NATO while separating Kaliningrad from Belarus.

Meanwhile, Belarus has conducted military exercises near Poland and Lithuania, while senior Russian officials have issued increasingly aggressive threats against NATO countries, raising fears that Kaliningrad and the Suwałki Gap could become a major European flashpoint.
