Ernest Jones about Dre Greenlaw head-butting him in Seahawks' loss to 49ers

Jackson's in here talking about how well the defense played and how the offense feels bad letting you guys down. What about you guys in this team keeps that from becoming a problem? I think for us, you understand when the losses come. It's just how you respond. How can we take a loss like this, figure out the reason why we lost, and how can it help us later on down the line? Nobody's fault, man. We could have executed better in the red zone. I'm saying that, but we gotta get stops, turn those touchdowns to three points, maybe looking at a different angle, so. When Greenlaw headbutted you, how much restraint did you have to just throw your hands up and not just go ballistic on him? A lot, I mean, it is what it is, and I don't think he intentionally did that to my quarterback, but if it was anybody, I'm gonna say something, so. Whatever the case may be, it is what it is. Were you bleeding, it looked like you were wiping your face, were you bleeding after that? Yeah. Just overall, where's this team at coming up? A tough loss, a little short week. How do you feel about where this team's at? I feel good, honestly. I still feel the same as I did before the season started. Just a little thing, man. Little things that turned us into what we're into. We could very well be sitting in the same thing five times a time. So just little things, man. We just got to execute better and execute in the moments. That's how they did it today, but we'll be better. When you were 3-2 last year, this is where you took off. Is there anything you draw upon now in these four days before the next game and say, hey, we've been here before, and what about this team makes that apply? I think in the way we've lost, sorry, in the way we've lost those two games, I think you draw from both of those. It's been similar things that have been credited to why we've lost no games. So we've just got to go watch this tape. This is a short week, so I don't know how much we're going to watch of it, but just go execute this week.
