Thanks for logging on to myfoxhurricane.com.
So here's a list of the names we've used so far.
Now we've got the I name done, but interesting to note,
it was also our first hurricane of the season.
We waited so long into the season to finally get to that hurricane.
And here we go.
Isaias, our first hurricane of the season.
Next name up on the list, Josephine.
Question is, when or will we ever see Josephine?
That remains to be seen.
We've got one area that we're watching well out into the Atlantic.
And this is an area where we do have some dry air there.
We also have some strong wind shear.
So the likelihood of anything happening with this, very low.
20% chance of development over the next seven days.
You'll see why.
Because our old friend the wind shear is alive
and well across the Caribbean,
the Central Atlantic heading all the way out into the Eastern Atlantic
with those strong winds in the atmosphere.
So as time goes on, conditions just are not all
that favorable that we'll see anything developing.
Watching here on the Fox Weather model,
here's the area that we're watching.
Notice as we go through time,
you just don't really see a whole lot happening with this.
Still stays a very weak area, broad area of low pressure.
And in fact, as we head towards the end of the week, it's very hard
to even figure out where it is or if it even still exists.
Here's another view with the various AI models.
We've got the GFS AI in the European.
Here's the area right there.
Now, watch as we go through time.
Once again, you see it.
It's there.
It's there.
And then it gets really hard to just kind of pick out where it is.
It basically just tends to wash it out as we head towards
the end of the week, which all makes sense.
We have the strong wind shear out there, so the conditions
just aren't all that favorable for anything to develop.
So for the time being, doesn't look
like anything's going to be developing.
Of course, we'll keep you updated right here on myfoxhurricane.com.
