Florida Gators Backed for a Turnaround Against Texas

Are you ready for a turnaround for the Gators is what I want to know because I'm thinking about going heavy on the Florida Gators. I don't think Texas is any good. Oh, I agree. Not for nothing. I agree with that. I don't think they're any good, and I think this would be a huge opportunity for Sumrall and for the Gators to bounce back here in a big way. I think Arch, I don't think he's good. I just don't think he's good. He's just not good. Yeah, he's just not good. Yeah, it looks like he's not. Yeah, a lot of stat padding against subpar teams last year and then one really good game against a ranked opponent. You know, I hate to even say that, Joe. I hate to say that about it, but it's kind of true. But it's true. You know, we went into the season with Moore on Oregon and Arch Manning. It's like the one and the two in the draft next year. Like, what now? Like, I don't even know. Like, you know who I do like? I would say you can show that graphic again. And look, the Gators got absolutely pounded, okay? Throw that Gator graphic, right? The Gators got crushed. they can't play any d i think it was an anomaly for their offense playing so bad last week i'll say that based on the last few weeks that i've watched i will tell you a guy that i can't quit and i think he's on south carolina and he's gonna play in the nfl like a Milrow type third round second round is this Lenora Sellers i don't know why he's terrible i i but no but Joe I still think he's gonna play in the league like I think he's gonna get a shot he's not gonna get taken in the first round probably not the second but you know watching I he the Gators D is really bad so it's hard to judge but I I still think there's something there what am I crazy with him watching that game like he still seems like there's something not there no wrong okay okay no he is to me he's gonna be uh what the court what was the uh the old quarterback for Jacksonville uh that played for them became an offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay uh Bucks Brian Leftwich reminds me very similar Brian Leftwich doesn't he run a little sellers no and yeah and just doesn't put it together for whatever reason I thought Leftwich was going to be an absolute monster he had all the tools in the world and just never it was just black and that's uh what sellers the difference is Leftwich had to make millions by leaving college the difference is Lenard Sellers didn't have to get great to go make the millions because they just handed it to him he keeps staying in college he keeps staying that's the big difference so I'm gonna be very interested what's the line in the game so where's where is this game that is going to shape franchises though with quarterbacks coming out of college I'm not sure about that I I'm with you man I think we've got busts from who's your favorite manning right on down the line who CJ Carr out of Notre dame where's chambliss i thought chambliss was chambliss is there Ole Miss too he's up there but don't think chambliss is like 80 years old don't forget he's been playing in college football forever so let's say you know let's remember that uh but i think Darian Menza if miami doesn't give him 20 million a return uh darian menza i think is maybe the best quarterback coming out of the draft yeah i wouldn't uh no way but again yeah you're too low on him if that's the case franchise changing year for quarterbacks in the draft. I'm sorry. That Arch Manning is not a game changer. He's not a franchise changer. I don't think DJ Moore in Oregon is changing anything. I'm not buying that either. You know what I meant. Dante Moore. Listen, Aaron Gordon just called and he said it is DJ Moore, who by the way is not playing for Buffalo next week. Which is a bigger problem here. Dante Moore right now is not a game changer. two best quarterbacks chambliss and darian menza i think Carr is going to get lit up by miami i think he's going to get lit up by byu this week uh and i think can we go back to the gators for a minute can you tell me where the game is makes no sense i'm taking the gators this week i'm doing it it was 11 right it was 11 why so now that's a lot thank you very much yeah why because my i'll tell you what happened to florida florida lost the missouri game twice the hype that they had and the belief they had coming in after the old miss beat down right they just they were starting to buy into the hype right florida they go in and they get embarrassed on her own home field by missouri that carried over into the uh into the south carolina i think they lost that missouri game twice they just carried over and couldn't next thing you know they're getting smacked twice I think it's wake-up call and I'll tell you another thing maybe the best thing for them is to get the hell out of the swamp right is that get out like go on the road and make it you against everybody else you know do you know that I went to the University of Florida from 1991 through 1995 those four years you know how many games the Gators lost at home from 91 to 95 No, not many. None. One. Zero. Squat. How about that?
