I'm Chief Meteorologist Brian McMillan.
Let's get into your forecasting.
I'll tell you what, it's a good one for the remainder of the work week.
We had some showers this morning.
We're going to be seeing increasing sunshine as high pressure returns.
The Pacific Northwest taking over for the next few days, in fact.
So lots of sunshine Wednesday afternoon.
Thursday we may wake up to a little bit of morning cloud cover,
but notice these little arrows moving their way east to west.
That's offshore winds. That's going to help boost our temperatures up
into the 70s for Thursday and again for Friday. So looking really good.
Really nice with the exception
of maybe some high clouds in the mix both days.
Today will be warmer than it was yesterday.
We're talking temps in the mid-60s for Seattle, Tacoma, and Olympia.
A little cooler up north, but still very nice.
East of the Cascades will be into the 70s in Wenatchee and Yakima.
And Portland and Eugene will be back into the low 70s.
Lots of sunshine across the Pacific Northwest today.
Your Sun will set tonight at 6:23.
Losing a lot of daylight here as we approach the end of October.
We'll have our first five o'clock hour sunsets in two weeks.
And in about two and a half weeks,
our clocks fall back because we go back to standard time.
And on the first of November,
we'll have our first four o'clock hour sunsets.
Looking ahead, hey, really nice for Thursday and for Friday.
Temperatures in the low to mid-70s.
For Saturday, we bring back some light showers,
much cooler temperatures,
a big drop in temps as we get into the second half
of your weekend where we're back down into the 50s.
So enjoy Thursday and Friday.
We'll
be
right
back.
