Putin Ally Unleashes Submarine Missiles To Blow Up U.S. Aircraft Carriers In East Asia? | Watch
North Korea has escalated tensions on the Korean Peninsula by test-firing two types of submarine-launched strategic cruise missiles, signalling a major push to strengthen its underwater strike capabilities. State media KCNA released images of the missile launches, with South Korean analysts suggesting they were conducted from the Kim Kun Ok Hero, a modified diesel-powered submarine unveiled by Pyongyang in 2023. One of the missiles was identified as the Pulhwasal-3-31, the same type North Korea recently tested from a land-based platform. South Korea's military tracked the launches and assessed that one missile was fired from a vertical launch system and another through a torpedo tube. The tests come amid a flurry of missile launches by both Koreas, including hypersonic weapons tests by Pyongyang and Seoul.
