Honestly, yesterday, I was like, this is the beginning of much cooler
temperatures than what we really saw at the start of the month.
Yeah, and you know, this is the big change, right?
October, it's still that transition month.
So we have seen some warmer days, certainly.
We're now seeing some cooler days,
but we'll still have some warmer days.
I was going to say, are we ever going to transition back?
You know what?
I don't necessarily say we are going to get back into the 80s,
but there is an indication we could see some 70s back
in the forecast, which will be nice.
Oh, this is beautiful.
It is.
Today would be great if we mixed some 70s with it.
But, you know, we're a little far from that this morning.
Looks great.
You step outside, a completely different story.
If you haven't noticed, Bree
and I both have long sleeve dresses on today.
And you will definitely need some sort of winter layers
as we are dealing with cold temperatures.
And the first time, you actually may be pulling out your ice scraper.
It could be a quick scrape, maybe an extra minute or so if you're going
to defrost it a little bit longer doing that method.
But needless to say, yes,
frost has covered a lot of surfaces right now.
We are still under a freeze warning and frost advisory until 9.
But one of the reasons why is as we look at satellite and radar,
we have clear skies statewide.
And we're also dealing with very calm winds,
both of those allowing our temperatures to drop
and any kind of moisture in the air to freeze on surfaces.
Cooler temperatures that will sit with us through the day today.
We are hanging on the 27 at Rhinelander, 38 Milwaukee, but don't let
that make you a little bit leery because we are still going
to be tracking some upper 20s and low 30s inland as well.
Some of the warmer temperatures because of the water will keep
it slightly more mild for Milwaukee into Racine and Kenosha.
We're not going to be this cold all day, but again,
if you're heading out in the early morning hours,
you certainly want to gather those layers on you.
We'll still see some upper 30s and low 40s by 9 a.m.,
finally seeing more upper 40s to low 50s by noon,
and we should max out in a range from the low to mid 50s today.
So it will be cooler than average,
but we are not looking at being this cool for the entire week.
We'll start to see our temperatures drop back
into the 40s early tonight, some upper 30s by tomorrow morning,
but then tomorrow our winds change back out of the south,
And that's going to bring back some of the warmth,
helping us push back into the 60s.
What we are going to be focusing on as we look at Sky Vision Plus,
it's all about the wind direction.
So today, we'll have plenty of sunshine.
Winds are going to gradually change out
of the southwest this afternoon and tonight.
And when they do change, they'll actually start to pick up.
So it could get a little breezy later on today.
But that is one of the factors that really is going
to keep our temperatures slightly warmer tonight.
And notice our winds are still looking at about 5 to maybe 10,
15 miles an hour overnight.
That could prevent more frost.
So we're not under an additional frost advisory for tonight.
And I think we may not be added to that just
because of the wind direction
and how strong the winds will be preventing frost to form.
We will have more sunshine in the forecast tomorrow.
And we're not seeing much happening here locally.
In fact, even as we're moving ahead,
it's just high pressure that's going to sit with us.
And that is going to continue to keep things calm.
We will pick up the winds on Sunday, so more breezy tomorrow.
And then we are also looking at having more sunshine
and gradually warming close to that 70 degree mark
as we head into the middle and end of this upcoming week.
