Georgia vs. Auburn Picks: Tigers Cover, Stockton Shines

Let me bring this Georgia game into the mix here against Auburn, where I know I have tried this a few times. Well, not really. I've tried it twice, and I've not been successful. Last week, I was on Georgia, so I'm wondering if maybe now I can go against them once more. But this just feels like an outrageous spot. Georgia clearly, clearly cared about that Alabama battle they always do but Kirby's like this is ridiculous, people think Kalen DeBoer has my number I just beat him in the SEC title I'm not losing to these guys right I think they like somehow the everyone in their phones like I think the pre-game locker room speech got leaked they were up for that game now you're back home Auburn laying 20 a Tigers team who's off a bye I think Auburn might be leading at half gross like not like oh my gosh Auburn's got 28 no like Auburn's got 10 and they're winning 10-7 and I'm holding on for dear life in the second half but I but I think that's kind of how this thing lands Dave I I really I again I know I know I have tried a few times to get in front of this this dog's team but I think this is like maybe a 28-20 final when it's all said and done and Auburn cover 100% of this football game. If it is 10-7 Auburn at the half, we're going to back the Brinks truck up for the Bulldogs in the second half and you very well may be right when it comes to it being a little bit of a letdown spot. Talent wise, Georgia's the better team here so I'm going to throw the spread and the total out the window and I'm going to go to a prop. Gunner Stockton impressed the heck out of me last week. He didn't throw for a lot of yards but only four incompletions, as you said. 214.5 is right around his season average. Threw for 294 versus Vandy two weeks ago, 249 versus Bama, and the Auburn defense, I saw it with Florida. Philo threw for 252. DJ Lagway, former Florida quarterback, Baylor, threw for 333 yards. Auburn's secondary is bad. So Georgia loves to run the ball, as we saw versus Bama. I think Gunner can get to 215 without a problem. Gunner Stockton, into the Heisman race, folks. He just is.
