(534) Heart Bloom Technique with Acrylic Pour

In this video, I am doing a bloom technique with acrylic pour. I am working on a wood heart that is about 12 inches wide. Using white acrylic house paint as a base, I create small puddles of paint throughout the canvas. I use yellow, orange, light pink, and light red. I use black paint as a cell activator.

Using the world's smallest leaf blower, I blow out the colors. I really like this one because it doesn't blow air too strongly on the canvas. It also helps to create nice cells. I use a toothpick and run it through all my bloom designs to further mix the colors. I think it adds a nice extra touch! The last step is to spin out my design on the turntable to cover the whole heart. I had some leftover paint, so I repeated this technique on a set of coasters.
