Lyric:
Je-sus went in-to the tem-ple of God
and cast out all those that sold and bought there.
He o-ver-threw the mon-ey chang-ers' ta-bles,
and the bench-es of those who sold doves.
He said to them,
“It is writ-ten,
‘My tem-ple shall be called the house of prayer,’
but you have made it a ‘den of rob-bers.’”
The blind and the lame
came to Him at the tem-ple,
and Je-sus healed all of them.
When the chief priests and scribes
saw the won-der-ful things that He did,
and the chil-dren shout-ing in the tem-ple courts,
“Ho-san-na to the Son of Da-vid!”
they were sore dis-pleased,
and said to Him,
“Do You hear what these chil-dren are say-ing?”
Je-sus said to them,
"Yes, Have you not read the scrip-ture
‘From the mouth of babes and nurs-ing in-fants
You have made per-fect the praise'?"
Then Je-sus left them
and went out of the cit-y to Beth-a-ny,
where He spent the night.
