Trump Backs Netanyahu Ahead of Israel Election | Iran War, Netanyahu’s Political Fight | N18g

US President Donald Trump has formally endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for re-election, throwing his support behind the longtime Israeli leader just days before Israel’s October 27 parliamentary election.

In a statement posted on Truth Social on October 18, Trump praised Netanyahu as a “great warrior prime minister” and a partner in confronting Iran. Netanyahu thanked Trump for his support, saying: “Together we will complete the mission!”

The endorsement comes at a crucial moment for Netanyahu, whose Likud party and religious-nationalist coalition face a challenging election campaign. Opinion polls suggest the governing bloc could struggle to retain its parliamentary majority, while opposition parties also face hurdles in forming a government.
