Multiple bodies pulled from home in Chicago suburb

Welcome back 731 and we have been following breaking news out of Mundelein. There is a death investigation currently underway. There is. So Saquon is live at the scene with more details and we've been trying to find out as much as possible but say I know that investigators are being pretty tight-lipped right now. Yeah exactly and that's typical in active investigations just like this one and I'll step out of the way and you can kind of see for yourself what we're seeing on this ground level here. So this is the home that investigators are focused on this red home here. This is just on Wellington Avenue. It's tucked away in a residential area here in Mundelein. And you can see this whole area right now is blocked off with some yellow tape. Now, in the front of the driveway, we've been seeing a lot of these different funeral home transport vehicles kind of taking shifts here and there. And we can now confirm we saw at least four bodies being carried out of this home here. It's unclear, obviously, just the extent of what actually is happening here or what did happen here, but you can see there's a huge police presence right now. There's Mundelein police, but there's also a lot of departments from different agencies. We did see the medical examiner's office that was on site earlier this morning as well. But at this point, we are still working to confirm exactly what happened here. Now, these two cars that are parked in the driveway here right now, neighbors tell me that they've never seen these cars before, but they also don't know if what they're seeing is accurate. They've just never seen these cars here in their 30 years of living here. They did talk about a vehicle that is familiar to them that they've seen in the past. But once again, we are seeing these two vehicles here parked in the driveway, and we are still working to confirm who these vehicles belong to. But I mentioned those funeral vehicles because there's a funeral home that's actually right next to this home that investigators are focused on. And this isn't really out of the ordinary. In fact, you know, it looks like on Lake County's website, this is very typical practice for the medical examiner's office in town. They do typically partner with funeral directors in the area to help transport some victims. But once again, this is what we're looking at here. It is starting to, you know, get a little bit brighter out. So neighbors are starting to wake up to a big police presence outside of their homes. We do plan on talking with them. And of course, we'll wait to see what law enforcement officials can tell us. But for now, guys, I'll toss things back to you. Thank you for the update. Thank you as always
