Jalen Hurts will miss the rest of the season after doctors discovered multiple blood clots in the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback's lungs, Action News' Ducis Rodgers confirmed on Monday.

Hurts will undergo treatment for the blood clots that will take at least three months, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

He was initially diagnosed with a left calf superficial vein thrombosis by a specialist in London, according to the team. However, after further testing and monitoring, the team said his condition has been upgraded to a deep vein thrombosis, as well as bilateral pulmonary emboli.
