Donald Trump and President Zelensky clash over the leadership of Ukraine and the conduct of the war. Trump argues that Zelensky has prolonged the conflict for personal gain and ignored warnings regarding attacks on Russian refineries. Zelensky responds by emphasizing the difficulty of holding elections during wartime and calling for a ceasefire to facilitate a democratic transition.
James Kaufman, World News Report Today.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have Zelensky responding to Donald Trump,
stating that Zelensky needs to be replaced.
And I don't think that Trump meant election.
We all know Zelensky would cheat in an election.
And since he's swiped every man off the streets,
and most all of them are in a grave now, they wouldn't be voting.
I'm sure that he wouldn't let the women
who lost their husbands vote either.
That would leave him and his cabinet, and, well, I don't know.
But I don't see him getting any votes whatsoever.
Now, what I do see is taking him out in a, well, different way.
What is that, what?
I look at it differently.
Zelensky could have settled this war many times, many, many times.
And he chooses not to.
very difficult. It's a war that should have never been started.
If I were president,
if the election weren't rigged,
I would have been president and that war would have never started.
But he could have settled it many times and he chose not to.
We said you can do whatever you
want to Russia. Don't hit the refineries
because that's a world problem that's caused. And he wants
to make problems for the world.
He wants to make problems for our farmers, our ranchers
with diesel fuel, because Russia supplies a large
portion of the diesel fuel throughout the world.
And we told him, do whatever you want, but
don't hit the diesel fuel, because there's a big
problem, a big shortage.
And what does he do?
He goes and hits the diesel fuel.
He can do whatever he wants, but he can't do
that, because we have a world problem.
And the problem is caused by the lack of refineries
for diesel fuel.
So what does he do?
He goes and hits refineries.
And I said to him, do what you want, don't hit refineries.
There's plenty of targets, don't hit refineries.
And he went out and he hit.
And he's not going to affect our farmers,
and he's not going to affect our ranchers,
and he's not going to affect the rest of the world.
So he'd better damn well stop.
Well, I agree
with you.
And you know what I suggest?
I suggest they get a new leader who can make a deal.
Because he could have made many deals
that for some reason he never does.
And let me go a step further.
If I were president, you wouldn't have ever had that war.
That war would have never started.
There was no reason that that war with Ukraine and Russia started.
It started due to incompetence.
It should have never started.
You wouldn't have lost 30%.
The reason he won't make a deal is because
then the grift would be over.
Isn't it quite obvious after purchasing
six multimillion dollar mansions,
including one in the U.S. and Switzerland,
a non-extradition country, how convenient.
This war has always been about the grift.
I'm talking about from the U.S. Congress down through
Zelensky and his, well, cabinet and legislature,
who are all on the take, period. Let's listen to
Zelensky's response, which is laughable.
Trust me, no one in Ukraine wants
the ex-disco dancer in charge any longer.
Now let's listen to what a professional grifter has to say.
But the first step is ceasefire, energy ceasefire.
Okay, if they want energy ceasefire, we are open for this.
Don't attack us. Don't kill our children.
We will stop attack your diesel.
And I think it's fair, fair deal.
President Trump said that we need, Ukraine needs a new president.
So, first of all, with all respect to President Trump, it's up
to our society, up to our people to choose one or another leader.
Yes, we are in war, and now to do elections is really difficult.
not only that it goes absolutely not secured
and it goes out of our law, out of our constitution,
but the main thing is to have security infrastructure for this,
to give possibility
people to vote. Of course, it's up to Ukrainians when to vote,
how to do it, and to choose one or
another person. But if to answer on this question,
I know that Putin wanted very much to change
the president in Ukraine I understand it
and if President Trump uh really wants to have some
changes in during elections I I also shared it with his team
so please tell Putin give us two
months 60 days of total ceasefire 60 days
and we will organize elections of course we will be ready
for any choice of our people, exactly Ukrainian people.
It's not just President Trump.
We also heard from Elon Musk saying Zelensky has gone too far.
Why are they blaming you for the continuation of this war?
Because these people can't find a key how to stop Putin.
Because it's more difficult
to stop Putin than to pressure others.
because it's more simple to speak about the prices
and connect it with Ukraine when everybody in the
world understands because of the war in Middle East
the prices are rising, they increasing, they
increasing because of the war in Middle East of the blocking
or moves because of these reasons
everybody understands it
and if we want to speak with people fairly if we want to be clear
if we want to speak with our nations openly we have
to stop, I mean these people have to hear
reality, don't play games with people now I agree
with the Middle Eastern war uh raising the price
of oil period and I've said that to all of y'all
but uh this war is not going anywhere fast and
it causes nothing but death and destruction on both sides.
We lost 100 Ukrainians this week,
and I'm talking about civilians.
Zelensky did have the chance and several offers from President
Putin to go ahead and make a deal and actually end the war,
but he refused them all. And in my
opinion with Russia having the upper hand they
were all very reasonable let's continue to defend
itself it's been almost five years of war we we need
to do it I mean to stop this war as quick
as possible we count that United States will help us to do this I hope
so we count on president his
team involving to stop Putin but to stop Putin
and I think this is the main goal to stop him
this is the main deal to stop this war
and we count on American support then and of course
we count on our European partners
and i hope that we will save this unity Europe and the United
States it's not simple by the way really
not simple we work hardly each day to save this
But in any way, we will defend ourselves,
because otherwise we will lose our life and homes.
Now, everyone must understand the United States has sent over
$300 billion worth of military equipment and money to Zelensky.
And his government is kicked back, obviously, to our Congress.
We can see the graft via Lindsey Graham, a little too greedy, visiting
the drone factory at the wrong time, looking for another check.
And we must outline the graft being pulled off by Zelensky with his six
new multimillion-dollar homes and all of his cabinet and legislature.
They're all millionaires now,
and we're even paying the pensions of ex-politicians and bureaucrats
that were actually employed in Ukraine, believe it or not.
Now, Russia's total military budget is $74 billion a year.
Can you imagine? We have pretty much paid for this war,
and he pretends like it's him in Europe against the U.S.?
anybody in europe that wants to start pitching
in and well matching our 300 billion let's see it
let's see it ukraine we can't lose
it and the the truth is on our side
president zelensky thank you
for taking time to talk to us of course ladies
and gentlemen no one would vote for this gentleman
No one, after what he's done to that country,
if there was a fair election.
But I just don't think that's what Trump has in mind.
Maybe Putin can think something up.
God bless you guys.
I agree.
This man needs to be replaced with someone
that's not going to grift so hard.
Please, make sure to share, give us a thumbs up, and God bless you all.
