I'm CBC Meteorologist Ashley Braulweiler with a look
at your forecast for Newfoundland and Labrador.
Today, quiet, just cloudy for the most part across
the island portion of the province anyway.
But there are some showers just offshore at the moment.
And it does look like they may stay there
as we head through the night tonight.
Now, extreme southeastern portions of Labrador,
or of the island rather, you may see a few showers today.
But for the most part, it should stay dry.
Our next area of low pressure, well to our south.
This one looks like it'll bring some weather as we head through
the next couple of days as we head into the weekend.
But here's a look at your forecast for today.
Anywhere from 10 to 13 degrees.
Again, a few showers potentially for the Burin Peninsula as well.
Otherwise, unsettled for Labrador.
Shower chances and potential for some flurries,
especially for the north coast.
But here's a look at that area of low
pressure and how it will play out.
There's a little bit of disagreement
for sure on the track of this system.
But as we head through Thursday, we'll start
to see some showers potentially for the eastern portion of the island.
Then the winds will come with it
by the time we get into Friday morning.
There's some colder air in play, too.
We may see some snow with this by the time we get
into Friday for parts of Central
and potentially ending as snow for the Avalon
as well into Saturday morning.
Again, lots of disagreement,
but certainly worth watching over the next couple of days.
